On January 29:

● 8:48 a.m. A deputy responded to E Main ST, Village of Benton for a two vehicle accident. Dorena E. Menzemer, 76, Hazel Green was traveling on E Main ST when she crossed the centerline and struck a semi operated by Ervin L. Wethal, 60, Evansville. No injuries were reported. Wethal’s 2023 semi received functional damage and was driven from the scene, whereas, Menzemer’s 2013 Chrysler received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Menzemer was cited for Operating Left of Center. 

On January 30:

● 4:39 p.m. A deputy responded to STH 23, Willow Springs Township for a vehicle in the ditch. Victor M. Ramirez-Jimenez, 36, Monroe was cited for Operating without a Valid License- 1st Offense. Ramirez- Jimenez’s 2008 Buick received functional damage and towed from the scene.

On January 31:

● 7:32 p.m. Deputies responded to USH 151, Belmont Township for a traffic complaint. Iredis T. Madison, 39, Chicago was cited for Operating While Intoxicated- 1st Offense and Lane Deviation. 

On February 2:

● 7:40 a.m. A deputy responded to CTH XX, Belmont Township for a one vehicle accident. Avery J. Miller, 18, East Dubuque was traveling on CTH XX when he lost control of his vehicle due to road conditions, left the roadway, and struck a culvert. Miller reported no injuries. Miller’s 2004 GMC received disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

On February 5:

● 1:07 p.m. Deputies responded to CTH F, Willow Springs Township for a one-vehicle accident. Angel G. Martinez-Sanchez, Texas was operating a 2009 Chevrolet when he left the roadway and came to a rest in the ditch. Martinez-Sanchez reported no injuries. Martinez-Sanchez was cited for Operating Without a Valid License, No Registration, Failure to Control a Motor Vehicle, and No Proof of Insurance. Martinez-Sanchez’s Chevrolet received disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

● 5:10 p.m. Melissa M. Fawcett, 50, Benton reported striking a deer on STH 11, Gratiot Township. Fawcett reported no injuries. Fawcett’s 2017 Chevrolet received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

● 11:51 p.m. Deputies, Gratiot Fire, and Gratiot First Response responded to CTH KK, Gratiot Township for a one-vehicle accident. Nicole L. Davis, 39, South Wayne was operating her 2023 Chevrolet when she lost control, struck a guardrail, and came to a rest on its side in a culvert. Davis reported no injuries. Davis was transported to Lafayette County Jail and was booked and released on bond for Operating With a Revoked License, OWI- 3rd Offense, and Bail Jumping (2 Counts). Davis’s Chevrolet received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Green County EMS assisted.

On February 6:

● 4:47 a.m. William U. Gonzalez-Rios, 18, Darlington was Cited for Speeding and Operating Without a Valid License- 2nd Offense on STH 81, Elk Grove Township.

● 6:17 a.m. Brianna M. Ingman, 38, Muscoda reported striking a deer on CTH G, Belmont Township. Ingman reported no injuries. Ingman’s 2017 Dodge received functional damage and was driven from the scene. 

● 5:37 p.m. Kaylee A. Butteris, 33, Mineral Point reported striking a deer on Jones Branch RD, Belmont Township. Butteris’s 2020 Ford received functional damage and driven from the scene.

On February 7:

● 8:38 p.m. Brody M. Argall, 16, South Wayne was cited for Speeding on STH 11, Wayne Township.

On February 9:

● 3:17 p.m. Deputies, Darlington Fire, and Lafayette County EMS responded to STH 81, Darlington Township for a two vehicle accident. Susan A. Dahmen, 74, Monroe was traveling westbound on STH 81 when she crossed the centerline and struck an oncoming eastbound vehicle, operated by Linnea G. Tabaka, 25, Monroe, head on. Dahmen was airlifted to the hospital for severe, life-threatening injuries, whereas Tabaka was transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries sustained in the crash. Both Dahmen’s 2019 Chevrolet and Tabaka’s 2014 Chevrolet received disabling damage and were towed from the scene. Lafayette County Highway Department and UW Medflight assisted.

On February 10:

● 9:07 p.m. John D. Speer, 78, Blanchardville reported striking a deer on STH 78, Argyle Township. Speer reported no injuries. Speer’s 2014 Buick received functional damage and driven from the scene.

On February 11:

● 1:46 a.m. Erlan D. Flores-Alvarado, 28, Shullsburg was arrested on CTH Q, Seymour Township for Operating Without a Valid License (OWL — 2nd Offense). Flores-Alvarado was transported to Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and later released.

On February 12:

● 6:12 p.m. Sara J. Anderson-Mooney, 60, Darlington reported striking a deer on CTH F, Blanchard Township. Anderson-Mooney reported no injuries. Anderson-Mooney’s 2010 Honda received disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

● 6:15 p.m. Megan L. Wolf, 45, Fennimore reported striking a deer on CTH G, Belmont Township. Wolf reported no injuries. Wolf’s 2024 Chevrolet received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

On February 13:

● 10:23 p.m. Dibal J. Pineda-Treso, 31, Shullsburg was cited for Possession of Open Intoxicants in Motor Vehicle, Operating Left of Center, Speeding, and Operating While Under the Influence. Pineda-Treso was arrested for Operating Without a Valid Driver’s License- 2nd Offense within 3 years and Failing to Stop. Pineda-Treso was transported to and booked into the Lafayette County Jail and released on bond.

On February 14:

● 9:18 a.m. A deputy responded to CTH D, Wiota Township for a one vehicle accident. Ray A. Stone, 55, South Wayne was operating his 2013 Buick when he left the roadway and came to a rest in the ditch. Stone reported no injuries. Stone’s Buick received disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

● 5:43 p.m. A deputy responded to STH 81, Darlington Township for a wanted person. Jordan L. Schober-Lange, 21, Dubuque was arrested on a valid Lafayette County Warrant. Schober-Lange was transported to the Lafayette County Jail where she was booked and remains

On February 15:

● 12:22 a.m. Deputies and Belmont EMS responded to CTH G, Belmont Township for a one vehicle accident. Amelia G. Dudenbostel, 19, Fennimore was traveling southbound on CTH G in a 2008 Chevrolet when she lost control of the vehicle, entering the ditch, crossing Mitchell Hollow RD striking a stop sign and intersection sign, entered a second ditch and overturned, where the vehicle came to a final rest.  Dudenbostel reported no injuries. Dudenbostel was cited for Violating Absolute Sobriety Law and Operating While Under the Influence. Dudenbostel’s Chevrolet received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Lafayette EMS assisted.

● 4:38 a.m. A deputy responded to STH 81, Darlington Township for a motorist assist. Austin C. Eisfeller, 21, Stockton was cited for Operating While Under the Influence. Lafayette EMS and Darlington Police assisted.

● 5:32 p.m. Deputies responded to CTH N, Wiota Township for disorderly conduct. Joshua D. Cox, 48, South Wayne was arrested for disorderly conduct and Bail Jumping. Cox was transported and booked into the Lafayette County Jail.

On February 17:

● 1:49 a.m. Deputies responded to STH 23, Willow Springs Township for trespassing. As a result, John R. Rowley, 41, Darlington was arrested for Criminal Trespass to a Dwelling, Armed Burglary, Possession of Methamphetamine, Disorderly Conduct, Child Neglect, and Bail Jumping (3 Counts Misdemeanor/1 Count Felony). Rowley was transported to Lafayette County Jail where.

On February 19:

● 4:56 a.m. Aiden M. Dole reported striking a deer on STH 78, Argyle Township. Dole reported no injuries. Dole’s 2020 GMC received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

● 7:17 p.m. Lee A. Burke, 68, Darlington reported striking a deer on CTH K, Darlington Township. Burke reported no injuries. Burke’s 2023 Jeep received functional damage and driven from the scene.

● 5:15 p.m. Gary K. Siegenthaler, 61, Darlington reported striking a deer on STH 23, Darlington Township. Siegenthaler reported no injuries. Siegenthaler’s 2015 Chevrolet received functional damage and was driven from the scene.
