On May 21:

● At approximately 8:25 p.m., Officers received a report from the Green County Sheriff’s Office of a tree down on a wire in the 100 block of E. Lake Avenue.  Monticello Fire Department and Alliant Energy were contacted. The area was barricaded until the tree branch could be removed from the wires.

On May 24:

● At approximately 10:00 a.m., Officers received a complaint of a resident being harassed. Contact was made with the offender who was verbally warned. The investigation remains open. 

On May 29:

● At approximately 9:40 a.m., Officers received a complaint of suspicious activity in the 400 block of E. Coates Avenue. The investigation is ongoing.

● At approximately 10:12 p.m., Officers checked on some suspicious activity in the 200 block of N. Main Street.  Everything was found to be okay.

● At approximately 10:30 p.m., Officers checked on some suspicious activity in the 100 block of N. Main Street.  The investigation is ongoing.
