On September 20:

● At 10:21 p.m., officers were called to a residence in the 2700 block of 8th Avenue for a disturbance. The investigation led to the arrest of Jeffrey K. Norton, 39, of Monroe, on an apprehension request from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole, for a probation violation. Norton was confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings.

On September 21:

● At 3:08 a.m., officers observed a vehicle accelerate through the intersection of 20th Avenue and 13th Street over the centerline and nearly strike another vehicle. An investigation led to the arrest of the driver of the first vehicle, Jose A. Garcia Romero, 22, of Freeport, IL, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense. Garcia Romero was also cited for unnecessary acceleration, failure to keep vehicle under control, reckless driving and operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration. Garcia Romero was released to a responsible adult pending a court appearance.

On September 24:

● At 11:56 a.m., officers were called to a two-vehicle accident with no reported injuries at the Stop N Go station in the 1600 block of 9th Street. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Nicholas S. Hogan, 46, of Monroe, while backing from a parking stall struck a second parked vehicle, owned by a Juda woman. Hogan then left the accident scene and was located at another location shortly after. Both vehicles sustained functional damages. Hogan was cited for operating while suspended and released pending a court appearance.

On September 25:

● At 7:24 a.m., officers were called to a report of a suspicious person in a vehicle parked in the 600 block of 8th Avenue. An investigation led to the arrest of Joe H. River, 21, of Dubuque, IA, on charges of possession of tetrahydrocannabinols (Delta 9 marijuana) with the intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia. River was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.

On September 26:

● At 11:44 a.m., officers were called to the intersection of 5th Avenue and 10th Street for a two-vehicle accident with no reported injuries. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Trenten N. Ryan, 26, of New Glarus, was stopped at the stop sign westbound on 10th Street, entered the intersection with 5th Avenue and collided with a vehicle, operated by Deborah L. Brooks, 72, of Monroe, which was northbound on 5th Avenue. Both vehicles sustained functional damages and were driven from the scene. Ryan was cited for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign. 

On October 1:

● At 7:20 a.m., officers were called to a report of vandalism in the 2700 block of 6th Avenue. An investigation led to the arrest of Ethan E. Tregloan, 24, of Monroe, on a charge of criminal damage to property. Tregloan was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
