On October 12:

● At 2:46 a.m., officers arrested Tom E. Brantmeier, 74, of Monroe, following a report from SSM Monroe Hospital security staff that an intoxicated person had been seen entering a vehicle and driving away. Brantmeier was stopped by officers in the 100 block of North 18th Avenue and was arrested on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense. Brantmeier was also cited with unsafe lane deviation and operating a motor vehicle with a prohibited alcohol concentration greater than .08 PAC. Brantmeier was released to a responsible adult pending a court appearance.
