On November 11:

● At 8:49 p.m., officers arrested Cole W. Bornemeier, 18, of Monroe, following a traffic offense stop at the intersection of 18th Avenue and 5th Street. Bornemeier was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense and was also cited for possession of tetrahydrocannabinols (THC) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bornemeier was booked and released to a responsible adult pending a court appearance.

On November 12:

● At 2:08 a.m., officers were called to a report of a vehicle versus parked vehicle accident, with no reported injuries, in the 2200 block of 1st Street. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Tabatha S. Huber, 35, of Monroe, was westbound on 1st Street when Huber collided with a legally parked and unoccupied vehicle. Both vehicles sustained moderate damages and Huber’s vehicle was towed from the scene. Huber was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense and also cited for operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration and inattentive driving. Huber was booked and released to a responsible adult pending a court appearance.

On November 14:

● At 5:01 p.m., officers were called to a two-vehicle accident with no reported injuries at STH 69 and 6th Street. An investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Francisco J. Ramirez, 35, of Granite Falls, MN, was northbound on STH 69, attempted to turn west on to 6th Street and collided with a vehicle which was southbound on STH 69, operated by a Monroe man. Both vehicles sustained functional damage. Ramirez was cited for failure to yield the right of way while making a left turn and was released pending a court appearance.
