On June 17:

● At 9:58 a.m., officers were called to a two-vehicle accident, with no reported injuries, in the 400 block of 8th Street. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Tracy L. McAfee,40 , of Monroe, turned east from a private drive on to 8th Street and collided with a westbound vehicle on 8th Street, operated by a Monroe woman. Both vehicles sustained disabling damages and were towed. McAfee was cited for failure to yield the right of way while entering the roadway and was released pending a court appearance.
