On March 18:

● At 4:24 p.m., officers arrested Hunter S. Santoro, 21, of Monroe, at a residence in the 2500 block of 10th Street, on a warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole for a probation violation. Santoro was confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings.

On March 19:

● At 5:32 a.m., officers were called to a single vehicle versus fence accident with no reported injuries in the 2200 block of 6th Street. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Robert J. Witt, 51, of Monroe, was westbound on 6th Street, left the roadway and collided with a corner landscaping fence. Witt’s vehicle sustained minor damages and was towed from the scene. Witt was cited for inattentive driving and released pending a court appearance. 

● At 1:27 p.m., officers were called to a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 700 block of 10th Avenue Court. The investigation led to the arrest of Diana I. Moran Cruz,31, of Monroe, on a charge of disorderly conduct under Wisconsin’s Domestic Violence laws. Moran Cruz was booked and released following the posting of cash bail pending a court appearance. 

● At 6:07 p.m., officers arrested Austin D. Colliers28 , of Monroe, at a business in the 1900 block of 10th Avenue on a charge of bail jumping due to a violation of bail conditions from a prior case prohibiting alcohol and being in a place which sells alcohol. Colliers was booked and released following the posting of cash bail pending a court appearance.

On March 22:

● At 2:22 a.m., officers conducted a traffic offense stop on a vehicle on 9th Street at 20th Avenue. The stop led to the arrest of Cassandra D. Gersbach, 23, of Monroe, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense. Gersbach was also cited for failure to stop for a stop sign and operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration. Gersbach was booked and released to a responsible adult pending a court appearance.

On March 23:

● At 8:53 p.m., officers received complaints regarding a vehicle allegedly traveling recklessly and the wrong way on a divided highway on STH 11, and shortly after located the vehicle in the 1400 block of 16th Avenue. An investigation led to the arrest of Richard M. Mulcahy, 73, of Monroe, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense. Mulcahy was also cited for improper stop at a stop sign. Mulcahy was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance or release to a responsible adult.

On March 24:

● At 10:10 a.m., Deputies, along with Albany EMS, Albany FD, and Green County EMS responded to the N6700 block of Norwegian Rd., in the Town of Albany, for a reported single vehicle crash with unknown injuries.  The investigation found that the driver, Justin W. Hartwig, 39, of Albany, was traveling north when the vehicle entered the ditch and then collided with a power pole.  The vehicle sustained disabling damage, with no airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.  Hartwig was not wearing his seatbelt and was later transported to the Hospital for medical treatment.  The investigation resulted in Hartwig being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence and later released to a responsible party pending court.

● At 3:07 p.m., Deputies, along with Brodhead PD, Brodhead EMS, Brodhead FD, Green County EMS, and Orfordville EMS responded to the intersection of STH 81 & CTH T, in the Town of Spring Grove for a reported two vehicle crash with unknown injuries.   The investigation found Eugene R. Thompson, 63, of Monroe, was traveling eastbound on STH 81 when a vehicle driven by Richard E. Fluck, 88, of Davis, failed to yield the right of way from the stop sign traveling northbound on CTH T resulting in Thompson’s vehicle colliding with Fluck’s vehicle.  Thompson and Fluck reported that they were wearing their seatbelts and were later transported to the hospital for apparent non-life-threatening injuries.  Thompson’s vehicle sustained disabling damage with airbag deployment and Fluck’s vehicle sustained disabling damage with no airbag deployment.   Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
