On April 25:

● At 9:51 a.m., officers were called to a two-vehicle accident with no reported injuries at 10th Street and 15th Avenue. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Juan D. J. Acevedo Martinez, 49, of Monroe, was northbound on 15th Avenue, entered the intersection to turn west on 10th Street, and collided with a westbound vehicle on 10th Street, operated by Marco A. Martinez, 24, of Monroe. Both vehicles sustained severe damages and were towed. Acevedo Martinez was cited for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign, operating without a valid driver’s license and operating without insurance. Acevedo Martinez was released pending a court appearance. Martinez Sarmiento was cited for operating after revocation due to an alcohol related conviction and released pending a court appearance.

On April 27:

● At 7:48 p.m. officers arrested Robert A. Geyer, 52, of Monroe, at 9th Street and 25th Avenue, on a charge of disorderly conduct after officers were called to check on a suspicious person. Geyer was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
