On January 21:

● 2:34 p.m. A deputy assisted Belmont Police at W Liberty ST in the village for a report of Domestic Abuse. Devin H. Malott, 34, Belmont was arrested for Aggravated Battery (Domestic Abuse). Malott was transported to the Lafayette County Jail, where he was booked and remains in custody.

● 4:42 p.m. A deputy responded to Lake RD, Argyle Township for a report of bail jumping. Anthony J. Lucey, 37, Benton was arrested for Bail Jumping and transported to the Lafayette County Jail, where he was booked and later released on bond.

● 8:57 p.m. A deputy responded to CTH M, Wiota Township for a one-vehicle accident. Aiden F. Theobald, 21, Maryland was operating a 2009 Ford when he left the roadway due to weather conditions, struck multiple signs, overturned after leaving a bridge, where it came to a rest on its side. Theobald was cited for Failure to Report, with additional citations pending.
