On September 26:

● 1:34 p.m. Deputies responded to CTH O, Seymour Township for a disorderly dispute. As a result, Keith A Ward, 36, Muscoda was arrested for Domestic Disorderly Conduct, Domestic Battery, and Reckless Endangerment. Ward was transported to the Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and remained. Nicole A Ruch, 44, Platteville was arrested on a valid Probation and Parole Hold and was transported to the Grant County Jail. Lafayette County EMS assisted.

On September 27:

● 4:30 p.m. A deputy, Gratiot Fire, Gratiot First, and Green County EMS responded to STH 11, Gratiot Township for a two vehicle accident. Pauletta Fick, 81, Gratiot was travelling on STH 11 when she stopped to make a left turn. As Fick was turning, Gary S. Cooley, 52, Potosi attempted to pass Fick on the left side causing Fick to strike Cooley. Fick’s 2017 Ford received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Cooley’s 2001 Ford received minor damage and was driven from the scene. Cooley was cited for Passing a Vehicle Turning Left.

● 6:07 p.m. A deputy responded to Meier RD, Wayne Township for suspicious activity.

● 11:45 p.m. A deputy responded to School ST, Village of Gratiot for a suspicious activity.

On September 28:

● 5:26 p.m. A deputy responded to Bridge ST in the Village of Gratiot for a theft.

● 6:04 p.m. A deputy responded to W Center ST in the Village of South Wayne for keep the peace.

● 7:16 p.m. Deputies responded to the Cheese Country Trail, Gratiot Township for an ATV accident. Stuart J Caravello, 53, Medinah, IL was traveling eastbound on the Trail in a 2007 Polaris at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his UTV. Carvello went into the ditch and came to rest. Caravello was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Caravello was cited for Operating a UTV while intoxicated and Operate a UTV at an Unreasonable Speed. 

On September 29:

● 1:16 a.m. Hector D. Hernandez-Casas, 41, Cobb was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated (OWI — 2nd Offense), Operating After Revocation, and Tampering with IID. Hernandez-Casas was transported to Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office where he was booked and later released.
