On September 18:

● 5:26 p.m. Deputies, Belmont EMS and Belmont Fire responded to CTH G, Belmont Township for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Bobbi J. Hannan,34, Platteville was entering the parking lot of the Belmont Mound Park when she lost control of her 1997 Infiniti and struck a legally-parked 2011 Chevy Cruz and Virgil A. Vondra-Polkinghorn,19, Platteville who was standing next to his parked vehicle. Minor injuries were reported. Hannan’s 1997 Infiniti was towed from the scene. 

On September 19:

● 2:33 p.m. Michael R. Hermanson, 59, Darlington reported striking a deer on STH 81, Darlington Township. Hermanson reported no injuries. Hermanson’s 2017 Ford received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

● 4:16 p.m. A deputy responded to W Church ST, City of Shullsburg for a two vehicle accident. Jamie L. Roberts, 44, Shullsburg was sitting stationary when he was backed into by Brian C. Schroeder, 42, Winslow IL. Neither Roberts nor Schroeder reported any injuries. Both Roberts’ 2023 Ford and Schroeder’s 2019 Kia received functional damage and were driven from the scene.  

● 7:31 p.m. John W. Weber, 71, Durand IL reported striking a deer on STH 11, New Diggings Township. Weber reported no injuries. Weber’s 2024 Ford received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

● 7:47 p.m. Brian R. Neunschwander, 71, South Wayne reported striking a deer on CTH D, Wiota Township. Neunschwander reported no injuries. Neunschwander’s 2010 Dodge received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

On September 20:

● 7:21 p.m. Gregory J. Ochsner, 70, New Glarus reported striking a deer on CTH KK, Gratiot Township. Ochsner reported no injuries. Ochsner’s 2019 Nissan received functional damage and was driven from the scene. 

On September 21:

● 1:40 a.m. Hugo R. Flores, 23, Shullsburg was arrested on STH 23, Darlington Township for Operating While Intoxicated (1st Offense). Flores’ passenger, Jefferson Villalobo, 18, Shullsburg was cited for Underage Possession/Consumption of Intoxicants. Flores was released to a responsible party. Flores was also cited for Unreasonable and Imprudent Speed, Possession of Open Intoxicants, and Operating Without a Valid License (1st Offense). 

● 4:15 a.m. Hugo R. Flores, 23, Shullsburg was cited for Operating Without a Valid License (second 1st Offense) on STH 23, Darlington Township.

● 9:34 p.m. A deputy responded to Wardsville RD, Seymour Township to keep the peace. As a result, Ana O. Garcia-Hernandez, 19, Tyler TX was arrested for Criminal Damage to Property and Theft. Garcia-Hernandez was transported to Lafayette County Jail where she was booked and later released after posting bond. 

On September 24:

● 11:03 a.m. A deputy, Belmont Fire, and Belmont EMS responded to CTH G, Belmont Township for a one vehicle accident. Ethan A. Meboe, 26, Benton was traveling on CTH G when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a bridge and came to a rest in the brush. Meboe was transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries sustained in the crash. Meboe’s 2011 Chevrolet received disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
