On September 14:

● 4:20 p.m. Darlington Fire and Lafayette County EMS responded to CTH F, Darlington Township for a UTV accident. Kyle A. Brunkow, 44, Darlington was southbound in a 2025 Polaris on CTH F and attempted to turn into a driveway. A 2025 Toyota, driven by Greg A. Schulte, 65, Darlington attempted to pass the UTV and struck it. As a result, Brunkow was arrested for operating a UTV while Intoxicated - 2nd Offense and was transported to the Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and released to a responsible party. A deputy and Darlington Police Department assisted.

On September 15:

● 3:49 a.m. Timothy E. Paulson, 59, Gratiot reported striking a deer on STH 23, Darlington Township. Paulson reported no injuries. Paulson’s 2020 Chevrolet received functional damage and was driven from the scene.
