On November 18:
● 5:04 p.m. Nicholas P Whitcomb, 22, Gratiot reported striking a deer on STH 11, Wayne Township. No injuries were reported and Whitcomb’s 2014 Volkswagen received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
On November 19:
● 5:23 p.m. A deputy responded to Ames RD, Darlington Township for suspicious activity.
● 6:01 p.m. A deputy responded to CTH F, Fayette Township for a one vehicle accident. Sutter E Williams, 16, Argyle was traveling southbound on CTH F when he struck a cow in the roadway. No injuries were reported and the 2006 Ford Williams was operating was driven from the scene with minor damage. Lafayette County EMS assisted.
● 7:54 p.m. A deputy responded to CTH W, White Oak Springs Township for suspicious activity.
● 7:55 p.m. Daniel N Kuebli, 48, Monroe reported striking a deer on STH 81, Argyle Township. No injuries were reported and Kuebli’s 2017 Dodge was driven from the scene with moderate damage.
On November 20:
● 6:12 p.m. A deputy responded to STH 78, Gratiot Township for a one vehicle accident. Mareling W Roque-Gonzalez, 20, Apple River, IL was traveling southbound when she entered the west shoulder and lost control of the vehicle. As a result, the vehicle entered the ditch and struck the embankment causing it to overturn. The driver was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Roque-Gonzalez was cited for Failure to Maintain Control and Operating without Valid License. The 2007 Toyota received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Gratiot First Response, Gratiot Fire, and Green County EMS assisted on scene.
● 6:20 p.m. Jacqueline A Thompson, 44, Darlington reported striking a deer on CTH A, Argyle Township. No injuries were reported. Thompson’s 2019 Honda received functional damage and was driven from the scene.
On November 21:
● 5:11 a.m. A deputy responded to STH 81, Lamont Township for a vehicle in the ditch.
● 7:26 a.m. Scott R Douglas, 54, Darlington reported striking a deer on CTH E, Darlington Township. No injuries were reported. Douglas’s 2018 Chevrolet received minor damage and was driven from the scene.
● 9:37 p.m. Deputies responded to STH 11, Wayne Township for a domestic dispute.
On November 22:
● 10:04 a.m. A deputy responded to S Varnum ST in the Village of South Wayne for suspicious activity.
● 6:48 p.m. Hector G Fonseca-Rodriguez, 21, Darlington was arrested on an Iowa County warrant on W Catherine ST in the City of Darlington and transported to Iowa County Jail.
● 9:16 p.m. A deputy responded to CTH O, Seymour Township for threatening.
On November 22:
● 6:28 a.m. Danelle K Curran, 37, Gratiot reported striking a deer on STH 78, Town of Gratiot. Curran’s 2019 Ford received moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
● 2:38 p.m. A deputy responded to Noble St, Village of Gratiot for a report of suspicious activity.
● 8:25 p.m. Tanner W Evenstad, 25, Darlington reported striking a deer on STH 81, Argyle Township. Evenstad’s 2021 GMC received minor damage and was driven from the scene.
● 8:40 p.m. Trent M Roewer, 24, Belvidere IL was cited for Operating a UTV on Highway, No Safety Certificate, Operating UTV while Intoxicated and Refusal of Chemical Test on STH 81, Darlington Township. Roewer was later released to a responsible party.
● 9:35 p.m. A deputy responded to CTH KK, Town of Gratiot for a theft complaint.
