On November 18:
● 5:04 p.m. Nicholas P Whitcomb, 22, Gratiot reported striking a deer on STH 11, Wayne Township. No injuries were reported and Whitcomb’s 2014 Volkswagen received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
On November 19:
● 5:23 p.m. A deputy responded to Ames RD, Darlington Township for suspicious activity.
● 6:01 p.m. A deputy responded to CTH F, Fayette Township for a one vehicle accident. Sutter E Williams, 16, Argyle was traveling southbound on CTH F when he struck a cow in the roadway. No injuries were reported and the 2006 Ford Williams was operating was driven from the scene with minor damage. Lafayette County EMS assisted.
● 7:54 p.m. A deputy responded to CTH W, White Oak Springs Township for suspicious activity.
● 7:55 p.m. Daniel N Kuebli, 48, Monroe reported striking a deer on STH 81, Argyle Township. No injuries were reported and Kuebli’s 2017 Dodge was driven from the scene with moderate damage.
On November 20:
● 6:12 p.m. A deputy responded to STH 78, Gratiot Township for a one vehicle accident. Mareling W Roque-Gonzalez, 20, Apple River, IL was traveling southbound when she entered the west shoulder and lost control of the vehicle. As a result, the vehicle entered the ditch and struck the embankment causing it to overturn. The driver was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Roque-Gonzalez was cited for Failure to Maintain Control and Operating without Valid License. The 2007 Toyota received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Gratiot First Response, Gratiot Fire, and Green County EMS assisted on scene.
● 6:20 p.m. Jacqueline A Thompson, 44, Darlington reported striking a deer on CTH A, Argyle Township. No injuries were reported. Thompson’s 2019 Honda received functional damage and was driven from the scene.
