● 6:28 p.m. Pamela R. Wymore, 62, Shullsburg reported striking a deer on STH 78, Gratiot Township. Wymore reported no injuries. Wymore’s 2020 Chevrolet received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

On January 16

● 5:42 p.m. Isaac M. Meylor, 20, Darlington reported striking a deer on CTH G, Kendall Township. Meylor reported no injuries. Meylor’s 2019 GMC received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

On January 20:

● 7:09 a.m. Sara K. Blask, 33, Highland reported striking a deer on STH 23, Willow Springs Township. Blask reported no injuries. Blask’s 2016 Ford received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

● 6:08 p.m. Nora E. Wolf, 19, Janesville was cited for Speed on STH 11, Gratiot Township.

On January 21:

● 5:19 p.m. Mataya K. Plenkers, 23, Lamont reported striking a deer on STH 81, Darlington Township. Plenkers reported no injuries. Plenkers’ 2009 GMC received functional damage and was driven from the scene. 

● 5:59 p.m. Charlotte L. Doherty, 75, Darlington reported striking a deer on County Shop RD, Darlington Township. Doherty reported no injuries. Doherty’s 2015 Volkswagen received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

● 6:51 p.m. Jesse J. Leon, 20, Dubuque was cited for Speeding and Underage Possession of False ID on STH 81, Elk Grove Township. 

● 7:36 p.m. Edgar Y. Carrasco-Murillo, 33, Dubuque was arrested for Operating after Revocation (OAR) and Bail Jumping on STH 81, Elk grove Township. Carrasco-Murillo was transported to Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and later released after posting bond.

● 11:00 p.m. Gerson O. Pineda-Medina, 21, Darlington was arrested on Wisconsin ST, City of Darlington for Operating without a Valid License (3rd w/in 3 Years). Pineda-Medina was transported to Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and released. 

On January 22:

● 4:49 a.m. Christina K Bennett, 24, Shullsburg was cited on CTH H, Benton Township for Speeding.

● 10:59 a.m. Jacob R Gardner, 28, Monroe reported striking a deer on STH 81, Lamont Township. No injuries were reported. Gardner’s 2017 Chevrolet received minor damage and was driven from the scene

On January 23:

● 5:53 p.m. Betsy J Monton, 52, Darlington reported striking a deer on CTH G, Willow Springs Township. No injuries were reported. Monton’s 2014 Dodge received minor damage and was driven from the scene.

On January 24:

● 5:10 p.m. Richard B. Black, 66, Darlington reported striking a deer on STH 23, Willow Springs Township. Black reported no injuries. Black’s 2019 Chevrolet received disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

● 7:05 p.m. Fabian S. Franco-Puentes, 33, Dubuque was cited for Speeding on STH 81, Elk Grove Township.

● 7:43 p.m. Bobby R. Mosley, 40, Darlington reported striking a deer on STH 23, Willow Springs Township. Mosley reported no injuries. Mosley’s 2014 Chevrolet received disabling damage and was towed from the scene

● 8:20 p.m. Katie T. Prontsati, 34, Rochester MN was cited for Speeding on STH 81, Elk Grove Township.

● 11:15 p.m. Levi L.L. Brown, 22, Barneveld was cited for Speeding on N Mound AV, Village of Belmont. Darlington Police assisted.

On January 25:

● 1:26 a.m. Jose B. Amayo-Garcia, 23, Darlington was arrested for Operating without a Valid License (2nd w/in 2 Years), Bail Jumping, and Obstruction on STH 81, Seymour Township. Amayo-Garcia was transported to Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and later released after posting bond.

● 8:28 a.m. Belmont Fire, Belmont EMS, and a deputy responded to Wood ST in the Village for a two vehicle accident. Thomas J. Skattum, 37, Belmont was traveling on Wood ST when Robert J. Runde, 66, Belmont failed to stop at a stop sign and struck Skattum. Both Skattum and Runde were treated for minor injuries. Skattum’s 2021 Nissan received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Runde’s 2023 Chevrolet received functional damage and was driven from the scene. Runde was cited for Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign.

● 6:22 p.m. Matthew E. Millin, 51, Belmont reported striking a deer on CTH G, Belmont Township. Millin reported no injuries. Millin’s 2014 Volkswagen received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

● 11:58 p.m. Aaron V. Berge, 51, Lancaster was cited for Operating after Suspension (OAS) and Non Registration of Auto on CTH W, White Oak Springs Township. Berge’s passenger, Heather A. Merrison, 42, Lancaster, was arrested on a valid Warrant through Iowa County Sheriff’s Office. Merrison was transported to Iowa County Jail where she was booked and remains. Darlington Police assisted.

On January 26:

● 9:52 a.m. Donna L. Nelson, 76, Belmont was cited for Passing in a No Passing Zone on Truman RD, Elk Grove Township. 

● 10:06 a.m. Deputies responded to W Center ST, Village of South Wayne for a disorderly dispute. As a result, Cody A. Kirschbaum, 36, Albany was arrested for a valid Green County Warrant. Kirschbaum was transported to Green County Jail.

● 6:32 p.m. Deputies responded to USH 151, Belmont Township for a traffic hazard. Mohammad G. Rabbani, 50, Platteville reported that he struck the hazard while traveling southbound on USH 151. Rabbani reported no injuries. Rabbani’s 2013 Honda received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

On January 28:

● 6:12 a.m. Gregory K Johnson, 59, Darlington reported striking a deer on STH 23, Willow Springs Township. No injuries were reported. Johnson’s 1994 Acura received minor damage and was driven from the scene.

On January 29:

● 6:39 p.m. Vanessa C. Rosebrook, 30, Argyle reported striking a deer on STH  78, Argyle Township. Rosebrook reported no injuries. Rosebrook’s 2018 Mitsubishi received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

On January 30:

● 4:48 a.m. Hilda M. Flores-Rojas, 43, Darlington was arrested for Operating without a Valid License — 2nd Offense within 2 years on STH 23, Willow Springs Township. Flores-Rojas was transported to Lafayette County Jail where she was booked and released. Flores-Rojas was also cited for Speed.

● 9:45 a.m. Darlington Fire and Lafayette County EMS responded to CTH G, Willow Springs Township for a house fire. Belmont Fire, Mineral Point Fire and deputies assisted.
