On May 24:
● 7:20 p.m. Austin J Penniston, 44, Argyle was arrested for a child support warrant and was transported to the Lafayette County Jail where he remains in custody. Penniston is also being charged with Resisting, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
● 9:37 p.m. Kallista TD Johanson, 32, Milwaukee reported striking a deer on USH 151, Belmont Township. No injuries were reported and Johanson’s 2019 Subaru was towed from the scene with disabling damage.
● 11:37 p.m. Deputies responded to Lake Joy LN, Belmont Township for disorderly conduct. Brett M Jaeger, 30, Loves Park, IL was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and transported to the Lafayette County Jail.
On May 27:
● 4:13 a.m. Moises D. Flores-Godoy, 25, Shullsburg was cited for Speeding and Operating Without a Valid License (2nd Offense) on STH 81, Elk Grove Township.
● 5:47 a.m. Bradley T. Winter, 26, Apple River was cited for Speeding on CTH W, White Oak Springs Township.
6:24 a.m. Daniel V. Larson, 60, Argyle reported striking a deer on STH 78, Blanchard Township. Larson reported no injuries. Larson’s 2007 Jeep received functional damage and was driven from the scene.
● 7:35 p.m. Jorge A. Ordonez-Martinez, 40, Darlington was cited for Speeding, No Insurance, and Operating Without a Valid License (2nd Offense) on STH 81, Seymour Township.
● 7:49 p.m. Garrett J. Davis, 22, Darlington reported striking a deer on CTH F, Fayette Township. Davis reported no injuries. Davis’s 2023 Dodge received functional damage and was driven from the scene.
On May 28:
● 10:36 a.m. A deputy responded to CTH W, Monticello Township for a one vehicle rollover. Cecilia Guanozuiza-Quindil, 29, Chicago IL was traveling on CTH W when she lost control of her 2011 Hino truck, causing the truck to exit the roadway and rollover. Apple River Fire, Shullsburg Ambulance and Al’s Towing assisted on scene. Minor injuries were reported and Guanozuiza-Quindil’s truck was towed from the scene with moderate damage.
On May 29:
● 9:29 p.m. Meiers J. Dixon, 22, California reported striking a deer on CTH W, Monticello Township. Dixon reported no injuries. Dixon’s 2004 Toyota received functional damage and was driven from the scene.
● 11:10 p.m. Deputies responded to STH 23, Darlington Township for a one vehicle rollover accident. Shannon L. Towne, 48, New Auburn was traveling on STH 23 in a 1995 International towing a 2004 International when he lost control of his truck and the 2004 International being towed overturned into the ditch. Towne and his passenger, Natatsha C. Brady, 48, Maquoketa, reported no injuries. Towne’s International received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Gratiot Fire assisted.
● 11:22 p.m. Peyton J. Altfillisch, 17, Stockton reported striking a deer on STH 11, Wayne Township. Altfillisch reported no injuries. Altfillisch’s 2002 Volkswagen received disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
On June 01:
● 12:47 a.m. A deputy responded to CTH O, Darlington Township for a traffic complaint. Wynston A. Palzkill, 19, Belmont was arrested for Felony Eluding and Obstruction/Resisting an Officer. Palzkill was transported to Lafayette County Jail where he was booked on his charges and remains. Palzkill was also cited for Absolute Sobriety and Reckless Driving.
On June 6:
● 2:29 p.m. Deputies responded to CTH M, Wiota Township for a domestic dispute. Gregory S Bender, 20, Ocala, FL was arrested for Domestic Battery and Domestic Disorderly Conduct and transported to the Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and remains.
On June 7:
● 8:38 a.m. Sherri Y Weber, 66, Lancaster reported striking a deer on STH 11, New Diggings Township. No injuries were reported and Weber’s 2024 Chevrolet received disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
