● 1:54 p.m. Belmont Fire responded to Buckwheat Ridge RD in Grant County to assist Platteville Fire with a structure fire.
● 11:57 p.m. Miguel E Aguilar Hernandez, 24, South Wayne was arrested for Operating without a driver’s license on CTH D, Wayne Township. Aguilar Hernandez was transported to the Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and released. Aguilar Hernandez was also cited for No Insurance.
On June 8:
● 6:57 p.m. A deputy responded to E Louisa ST in the City of Darlington to assist Darlington Police with check welfare. Lafayette County EMS assisted.
On June 10:
● 1:06 a.m. Tim E. Apuzzo, 56, Mineral Point was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia on USH 151, Belmont Township. Apuzzo was transported to Lafayette County Jail.
● 3:04 p.m. A deputy, Argyle EMS and Argyle Fire responded to STH 81, Argyle Township for a one vehicle rollover. A juvenile male, Darlington was traveling on STH 81 when he lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway, entered the ditch, and struck a culvert causing the vehicle to overturn. The juvenile was transported to the hospital for minor injuries sustained from the crash. The juvenile’s 2011 Honda received disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
● 11:09 p.m. Pearl Wurtzbacher, 21, Gratiot, reported striking a deer on STH 78 in the Argyle Township. There were no injuries reported. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
On June 12:
● 9:38 p.m. Brianna L Leahy, 24, Mineral Point reported striking a deer on STH 23, Darlington Township. No injuries were reported and Leahy’s 2024 Chevrolet received severe damage and was towed from the scene.
On June 13:
● 6:20 p.m. Deputies responded to CTH G, Belmont Township for an accident. Gauge A Hayes, 24, Montfort was traveling southbound on CTH G on a 2008 Kawasaki when he crested a hill and struck a 2016 Honda being operated by Samantha F Debeukelar, 21, Richland Center. Hayes then struck a 2019 Honda operated by Thomas K Maughan, 24, Montfort and last slid into the bumper of a 2017 Ford, being operated by Graham D Miller, 18, Linden. Maughan was transported with minor injuries, and Hayes was transported by AirCare to UW Hospital with serious non-life-threatening injuries. Both Debeukelar and Miller and Miller’s passenger, Mackenzie A Martin, 19, Boscobel were not injured. Miller was cited Operate without a Driver’s License due to expiration. Hayes was cited for Non-Registration, Unreasonable and Imprudent Speed, and Operate a motorcycle without a Valid License. Belmont Fire and EMS, and Southwest Health EMS assisted on scene. The 2008 Kawasaki and 2019 Honda motorcycle were towed from the scene with disabling damage. The 2016 Honda and 2017 Ford were driven from the scene with minor damage.
On June 14:
● 1:21 p.m. A deputy responded to CTH Y, Wiota Township for a two vehicle accident. Ryan J. Austin, 38, Juda was traveling on CTH Y when he was struck head on while negotiating a blind corner by an on-coming vehicle operated by Aaron E. Melton, 25, Monroe. Austin, his juvenile passenger, and Melton all denied any injuries. Austin’s 2005 Chevrolet received functional damage and was driven from the scene. Melton’s 2001 BMW received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Melton was cited for No Insurance
On June 16:
● 8:43 a.m. A deputy responded to CTH G, Fayette Township for a one vehicle accident. Anthony W Arbogast, 36, Lancaster, MO was traveling on CTH G in a 2015 Chevrolet pulling a trailer when he was traveling too fast and unable to negotiate a corner, coming to rest in the ditch. No injuries were reported, and both the vehicle and trailer were removed from the scene.
● 4:34 p.m. Woodford Fire, Woodford First, and Argyle EMS responded to CTH N, Wiota Township for a two-vehicle accident. Kylie L Butler, 16, South Wayne was traveling northbound on CTH N in a 2014 Ford when she crested a hill over the center line and sideswiped a 2012 Dodge, being operated by Richard L Teeter, 64, Browntown. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were towed from the scene with disabling damage. Butler was cited for Operating Left of Center. A deputy assisted.
● 10:25 p.m. Shullsburg Fire and EMS responded to CTH O, Seymour Township for a one-vehicle accident. Jody R Baily, 59, Shullsburg was traveling southbound on CTH O in a 2011 Honda when she struck a horse. Baily was transported to the hospital with minor injuries, and her vehicle was towed from the scene with disabling damage.
