On July 6:

● 6:57 p.m. Shullsburg Fire and Ems responded to Stump Grove Rd, Shullsburg Township for a UTV accident. Cody A James, 30, Argyle, was traveling eastbound on Stump Grove Rd in a 2016 Polaris when he failed to negotiate the curve, exited the roadway, and rolled the UTV. James denied EMS and his passenger, Dylan L Blum, 22, Monticello was transported to the Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The UTV was towed from the scene and James was cited for operating a UTV in a Carless manner.

● 7:01 p.m. Darlington Fire and Lafayette County EMS responded to the Cheese County Trail in Willow Springs Township for a UTV accident. Ronald W Beck, 57, Harmon, IL, was traveling southbound on the Cheese Country Trail in a 2022 Yamaha when he swerved to miss a deer, entered the ditch and struck multiple trees before coming to rest. Beck was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and his passenger Stacey L Beck, 57, Dixon, IL, was transported from the scene via Medflight. The UTV was towed from the scene

● 9:42 a.m. Tobias M. Spillane, 50, Shullsburg reported striking a deer on Holland RD, Kendall Township.
