On December 30: 

● 5:13 p.m. A Deputy responded to STH 81, Lamont Township for a one vehicle accident. Raquel N. Ramirez-Goduy, 33, Shullsburg was traveling eastbound on STH 81, Lamont Township when she lost control of her vehicle causing her to enter the ditch and strike a privately owned fence.  Ramirez reported no injuries and her 2013 Hyundai received functional damage and was driven from the scene. Ramirez was cited for operating without a valid license, failure to keep vehicle under control, and failure to file an accident report.

On December 31:

● 6:49 p.m. A deputy, Belmont Fire, Belmont EMS and Southwest Health EMS responded to Jericho RD, Belmont Township for a one vehicle accident. Correna L. Riley, 55, Platteville was traveling on Jericho RD when she lost control and entered the ditch. Riley was transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.  Riley’s 2020 Subaru received disabling damage and towed from the scene. Riley was cited for OWI 1st.

● 10:28 p.m. Deputies responded to S Van Buren ST, Village of Benton for a check welfare. Troy A. Stevenson, 25, Benton was arrested for OWI 1st and released to a responsible party. Benton First Response and Hazel Green EMS assisted.
