On December 19:

● 3:10 p.m. Jerry L. Draves, 74, Dodgeville reported striking a deer while on USH 151, Belmont Township. Draves reported no injuries. Draves 2017 Ram received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

On December 20:

● 7:08 a.m. Joyce M. Donar, 58, Cuba City, reported striking a deer while on Twin Bridge RD, Benton Township. Donar reported no injuries. Donar’s 2021 Honda received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

● 7:16 p.m. A Deputy responded to STH 23, Willow Springs Township for a traffic offense. As a result, Angel D. Renderos-Hernandez, 38, Muscoda was arrested for Operating while intoxicated (4th offense), Reckless endangerment and knowingly fleeing an officer. Renderos-Hernandez was brought to the Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and remains.

On December 21:

● 12:59 p.m. Thomas L. Daly III, 59, Darlington reported striking a deer on Otter Creek RD, Darlington Township. Daly’s 2023 Ford received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

On December 23:

● 3:58 a.m. Brian K. Brown, 64, Platteville reported striking a deer on USH 151, Kendall Township. Brown reported no injuries. Brown’s 2017 Chevrolet received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

On December 24:

● 5:30 p.m. Jonathon S. Powell, 42, Gratiot, reported striking a deer while on STH 11, Wayne Township. Powell reported no injuries. Powells 2014 Nissan received disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

On December 25:

● 7:14 p.m. Deputies, Lafayette County EMS, and Darlington Fire responded to County Shop RD, Darlington Township for a one vehicle accident. Porter L. Olson, 22, Argyle, was traveling on County Shop Rd, when he lost control of his vehicle, causing him to leave the roadway and strike a tree. Olson was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Olson’s 2009 GMC received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. As a result, Olson was cited for Operating While Intoxicated — First Offense and Failure to Keep Vehicle Under Control. Darlington police assisted. 

On December 28:

● 12:57 p.m. Deputies and responded to E Truth ST, City of Shullsburg for a two-vehicle accident. Elyin A. Orozco Davila, 21, Shullsburg was operating his 2006 Toyota when he was struck by Rodney D. Hicks, 63, Monroe 2024 Ford. Orozco Davila was arrested for OWI and cited for OWL and No Insurance. Orozco Davila’s 2006 Toyota received disabling damage and towed from the scene. Hicks’ 2024 Ford received functional damage and driven from the scene. Lafayette EMS assisted.
