● 12:04 a.m. Joseph P. Lyne, 27, Shullsburg reported striking a deer on STH 11, Wayne Township. Lyne reported no injuries. The 2014 Chevrolet operated by Lyne received disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
● 6:58 p.m. Mark T. Taft, 61, Monroe reported striking a deer on STH 11, Gratiot Township. Taft reported no injuries. Taft’s 2006 Chrysler received functional damage and was driven from the scene.
On November 3:
● 3:52 a.m. Oscar D. Urbina-Moncada, 37, Darlington was arrested for Operating Without a License (2nd Offense) and Cited for Speeding, and for Displaying False Vehicle Registration Plate on STH 81, Elk Grove Township. He was brought to Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and then later released on Bond.
● 7:08 p.m. Renee C. Lee,36, Argyle reported Striking a Deer while on Apple Grove Church RD, Argyle Township. No injuries were reported, and her 2024 GMC received Functional damage and was driven from the scene.
On November 5:
● 5:05 p.m. Aaron J. Stauffacher, 33, Darlington reported striking a deer on STH 23, Darlington Township. Stauffacher reported no injuries. Stauffacher’s 2015 Jeep received functional damage and was driven from the scene.
● 7:21 p.m. Tawni M. Klotz, 57, Shullsburg reported striking a deer on CTH E, Darlington Township. Klotz reported no injuries. Klotz’s 2022 GMC received functional damage and was driven from the scene.
● 8:44 p.m. Michelle L. Meier, 29, South Wayne reported striking a deer on Wayne Center RD, Wayne Township. Meier reported no injuries. Meier’s 2020 Chevrolet received functional damage and was driven from the scene.
● 8:53 p.m. Nicholas J. Scherbring, 45, Blanchardville reported striking a deer on CTH F, Darlington Township. Scherbring reported no injuries. Scherbring’s 2018 Honda received functional damage and was driven from the scene.
On November 8:
● 1:17 a.m. Curtis M Elmer, 48, Darlington reported Striking a Deer while on STH 11, Wayne Township. Elmer’s 2016 Ford received functional damage and was driven from the scene.
● 6:10 p.m. Gratiot First Responders and Gratiot Fire responded to STH 11, Gratiot Township for a Two vehicle Accident. Christopher M. Wurtzacher, 51, Gratiot was traveling eastbound on STH 11, Gratiot Township without 2 working headlights, when Bonnie K. Kieler, 66, Shullsburg was exiting the wayside. Bonnie failed to yield the right of way. Bonnie’s 2013 Ford struck Christopher’s 2012 Chevy on the back right passenger side of his vehicle. Christopher’s truck received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Bonnie’s vehicle received functional damage and was driven from the scene. Bonnie was cited for failure to yield. Christopher was cited for operating w/o 2 headlights.
On November 9:
● 8:32 a.m. A deputy responded to a one vehicle accident on STH 81, Darlington Township. James T. Foley, 17, Shullsburg, was traveling eastbound on STH 81 when he lost control of his vehicle, causing him to cross the center line, enter the westbound ditch, and strike a power pole. No injuries were reported and Foley’s 2006 Chevrolet received functional damage and was driven from the scene.
● 1:19 p.m. A deputy responded to a one vehicle accident on STH 11, Wayne Township. Chase A. Womack, 20, Platteville was traveling westbound on STH 11 when he lost control of his vehicle causing him to leave the roadway and strike a driveway. No injuries were reported, and Womack’s 2003 Ford received functional damage and was driven from the scene.
On November 10:
● 3:23 p.m. Argyle Fire, Argyle EMS, and a deputy responded to CTH N, Argyle Township for a one vehicle rollover. April A. Spielman, 42, Blanchardville was traveling northbound on CTH N when she lost control of her vehicle, left the roadway, entered the ditch, causing it to overturn and coming to a rest in a corn field. Spielman and her passenger, Jeffrey W. Walters, 67, Blanchardville reported no injuries. Spielman’s 2004 Ford received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Walters was cited for Failure to Wear a Seat Belt. Spielman was cited for Failure to Wear a Seat Belt, No Insurance and Failure to Maintain Control of a Vehicle.
● 3:33 p.m. A deputy responded to Buncombe RD, Benton Township for a vehicle vs deer accident.
● 5:04 p.m. Betsy A. Wiegel, 65, Darlington reported striking a deer on STH 81, Lamont Township. Wiegel reported no injuries. Wiegel’s 2021 Ford received disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
● 6:56 p.m. A deputy responded to STH 23, Willow Springs Township for a traffic complaint. As a result, Gloria E. Mendoza, 22, Belmont was cited for Operating Without a Valid License, Failure to Secure Child in Child Safety Restraint Under 4 Y/O, and No Insurance.
On November 11:
● 12:19 a.m. Gerson I. Mairena Mendez, 30, Darlington was cited for Operating Without a Valid License (OWL – 1st Offense) and Speeding on Monroe ST, Village of Argyle.
● 3:08 a.m. Quinn T. Allbee, 26, Blanchardville was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated (OWI – 2nd Offense) and Operating After Revocation on STH 81, Elk Grove Township. Allbee was transported to Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and later released to a responsible party. Allbee was also cited for Possession of Controlled Substance.
