On October 30:

● 11:03 p.m. Maddox E. Goebel, 18, Darlington was cited for Speeding on STH 81, Darlington Township.

On October 29:

● At 11:41 a.m., officers were called to a residence in the 200 block of 4th Avenue for a report of a person violating their conditions of bail which prohibited contact with a designated person. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Caleb M. Hare, 22, of Janesville, on a charge of felony bail jumping. Hare was also placed on a probation hold by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole and confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings.

On October 31:

● 6:09 a.m.  Argyle Fire, Argyle EMS, and a deputy responded to CTH C, Argyle Township for a one vehicle accident. Nickolas O. Strasburg, 21, Jefferson was traveling on CTH C when his brakes malfunctioned, and he continued through an intersection. Strasburg left the roadway, entered the ditch, and struck an embankment coming to a rest. Strasburg was transported to the hospital for injuries sustained in the crash. Strasburg’s 2007 Ford received disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

On November 1:

● 12:09 p.m. A deputy responded to N Mound AV, Village of Belmont for a two vehicle accident. Gredi N. Lopez-Vasquez, 27, Belmont was performing a backing maneuver into an alley when he struck an oncoming vehicle operated by Connie R. Kamps, 80, Belmont. No injuries were reported. Lopez-Vasquez was arrested for Operating After Revocation. Lopez-Vasquez was transported to Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and later released after posting bond. Lopez-Vasquez was also cited for No Insurance. Lopez-Vasquez’s 2004 Oldsmobile and Kamps’ 2019 GMC received functional damage and were driven from the scene.
