● 7:01 a.m. Steven R. Smith, 54, Argyle reported striking a deer on Dobbs RD, Lamont Township. Smith’s 2022 GMC received moderate damage and was driven from the scene. 

On October 27:

● 6:32 p.m. Darlington Fire, Lafayette County EMS, and deputies responded to STH 81, Darlington Township for a one vehicle rollover accident. Juliana M. Nethery, 21, Darlington was traveling on STH 81 when she lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway, causing her vehicle to roll coming to a rest in the ditch. Nethery was transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries sustained in the crash. Nethery’s 2015 Chevrolet received disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

● 7:56 p.m. Thomas A Gunnell, 54, Shullsburg reported striking a deer on STH 11, Wayne Township. Gunnell reported no injuries. Gunnell’s 2009 Ford received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. 

● 11:11 p.m. Wayne A. Krebs, 75, Gratiot reported striking a deer on Mau RD, Wayne Township. Krebs reported no injuries. Krebs’ 2017 Buick received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

On October 28:

● 7:01 a.m. Stacey A. Balbach, 52, Gratiot reported striking a deer on CTH W, White Oak Springs Township. Balbach reported no injuries. Balbach’s 2021 Chevrolet received functional damage and was driven from the scene. 

● 8:30 a.m. Jeremy L. Davis, 43, Darlington reported striking a deer on Mount Pleasant RD, Lamont Township. Davis reported no injuries. Davis’ 2021 Ram received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

● 6:56 p.m. Dakota M. Paulson, 24, Darlington was arrested for a Valid Lafayette County Warrant on CTH E, Darlington Township. Paulson was transported to Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and remains.

● 10:07 p.m. Julio A. Vasquez-Garcia, 23, Monroe was cited for Speeding and Operating While Under the Influence (OWI -1st Offense) on STH 11, Gratiot Township. Vasquez-Garcia was transported to Lafayette County Jail where he was released to a responsible party.

On October 29:

● 4:38 p.m. John R. Matteoni, 86, Blanchardville reported Striking a Deer while on STH 78, Argyle Township. No Injuries were reported, and Matteoni’s 2015 Subaru received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

● 6:13 p.m. Brittany N. Ethridge,34, Monroe reported Striking a Deer while on CTH N, Argyle Township. No injuries were reported, and Ethridge’s 2013 GMC received disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

● 7:13 p.m. Mitchell E. Pederson,30, Gratiot reported striking a Deer while on STH 23, Darlington Township. No Injuries were reported. The 1999 GMC received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

On October 30:

● 6:40 p.m. Gaven R. Davenport, 21, Shullsburg reported striking a deer on STH 78, Wiota Township. No injuries were reported, and Davenport’s 2007 Mazda received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

● 7:15 p.m. Kirk A. Jenson, 54, Mineral Point reported striking a deer on English Hollow Rd, Fayette Township. No injuries were reported, and Jenson’s 2020 Ford received functional damage and was driven from the scene.
