On March 17:

● 11:32 p.m. Deputies responded to S State ST, Village of Argyle to assist Green County Sheriff’s Office with a Hit and Run that occurred in their county. While en route, it was advised there were multiple stationary vehicles also hit by the offending vehicle. The suspect vehicle was located after it crashed into a building on S State ST. The driver, Collin L. Brewer, 27, Albany, was transported to the hospital for injuries sustained during the crash. Brewer’s vehicle received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Argyle Fire and EMS assisted on scene.

On March 19: 

● 2:14 p.m. A deputy responded to USH 151, Belmont Township for a two-vehicle accident. A 2022 Kia driven by James F. Hauser, 73, Dubuque and a 2025 Mercedes-Benz driven by Alfonso W. Johnson, 38, Milwaukee collided causing the Mercedes-Benz to roll over. Non-life-threatening injuries were reported. Both vehicles received disabling damage and were towed from the scene. Belmont Fire, Belmont EMS, and Belmont Police assisted on scene.

On March 20:

● 4:05 a.m. A deputy responded to CTH G, Belmont Township for a one vehicle accident. Marlos A. Zuniga-Renderos, 19, Belmont lost control of his vehicle and struck a pole, causing him to roll over. Renderos was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Renderos’s 1998 Dodge received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Renderos was cited for Operating without Valid License, Failure to Maintain Control, and Operating without Insurance. Belmont Fire and Belmont EMS assisted on scene.

On March 22:

● 12:04 a.m. Tyler R. Everson, 29, Gratiot was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated (OWI — 3rd Offense) on STH 81, Elk Grove Township. Everson was transported to Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and later released to a responsible party. Lafayette County EMS assisted.

● 2:51 a.m. Penny L. Treanor, 54, Gratiot was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated (OWI — 4th Offense) on W Catherine ST, City of Darlington. Treanor was transported to Lafayette County Jail where she was booked and later released. Lafayette County EMS assisted.

On March 24:

● 8:00 p.m. Margit Strutz, 52, Waren, Germany reported striking a deer on CTH W, Town of White Oak Springs. The 2024 Kia Sportage she was driving received damage and was towed from the scene.
