On March 15:

● 3:46 a.m. Junior I. Licona-Trejo, 30, Darlington was cited on CTH Z, Darlington Township for Possession of Open Intoxicants in Motor Vehicle and No Registration of Automobile. Licona-Trejo was arrested and transported to the Lafayette County Jail for Ignition Interlock Device Tampering, Failure to Install or Violation of a Court Order, Operating While Revoked, and Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration (> .02) Under an IID Order-3rd Offense.

● 12:49 p.m. Deputies responded to USH 151 for a one vehicle accident. Alexis L. Hendrickson, 27, Dodgeville was traveling Southbound on USH 151 when she lost control of her 2004 Ford and entered the ditch. Hendrickson was transported to Southwest Health. Hendrickson’s Ford received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Iowa County Sheriff’s Office and Southwest Health EMS assisted.

● 3:55 p.m. Michael A. Makinen-Jacobson, 22, Monroe reported striking a deer on STH 81, Darlington Township. Makinen-Jacobson reported no injuries. Makinen-Jacobson’s 2022 Toyota received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

On March 16:

● 12:16 p.m. A deputy responded to Faymont RD, Lamont Township for a two vehicle accident. Blake W. Andrews, 60, Darlington was operating a 2009 Freightliner on Faymont RD when he struck an unoccupied 2015 Peterbilt sitting in the ditch line. Andrews reported no injuries. The Freightliner operated by Andrews received functional damage and was driven from the scene. The 2015 Peterbilt received disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
