On January 1:

● 1:33 a.m. A deputy responded to STH 81, Argyle Township for a one vehicle accident. John H. Triem, 42, Darlington was traveling westbound on STH 81 when he left the roadway and entered the ditch. Triem’s 2002 GMC Sierra received disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

● 5:02 p.m. Lindsay M. Bertelrud, 37, New Glarus reported striking a deer on CTH M, Wiota Township. Bertelrud’s 2017 Cadillac received functional damage and driven from the scene.

On January 2:

● 7:52 p.m. Brian A. Vance, 41, South Wayne reported striking a deer on CTH N, Wiota Township. Vance’s 2012 GMC received functional damage and was driven from the scene. 

On January 3:

● 3:24 p.m. A Deputy responded to S Park ST, Village of Belmont for a two-vehicle accident.  Pearl V. Wurtzbacher, 21, Gratiot reported striking another vehicle while in her work parking lot. Wurtzbacher reported no injuries and her 2016 Honda received functional damage and was driven from the scene. The other vehicle was unoccupied and received minor damage.

On January 4:

● 5:41 p.m. Christina Arguelles-Flores, 19, Darlington reported striking a deer while on STH 81, Darlington Township. Arguelles-Flores reported no injuries, and her 2018 Chevy received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

● 5:52 p.m. Kathleen J. Sargent, 63, Warren IL reported striking a deer while on STH 78, Gratiot Township. Sargent reported no injuries, and her 2024 Kia received functional damage and was driven from the scene.
