On January 14:

● At 7:32 a.m., Deputies, Green County EMS, and Monroe Rural Fire Department, responded to the N1000 block of STH 69, Town of Clarno, for a single vehicle rollover crash.  The driver, Jessica L. Beightol, 42, of IL, was traveling northbound on STH 69, when she lost control of her vehicle on the icy roadway. The vehicle entered the west ditch and overturned coming to rest back upright. Beightol reported having non-life threatening injuries, wearing her seatbelt, and was transported by EMS. The vehicle sustained disabling damage with no airbag deployment and was towed from the scene.  

On January 16:

● At 5:16 a.m., Deputies responded to the 400 block of W. Coates Ave., in the Village of Monticello, for a one vehicle crash. The investigation found that the driver, Richard L. Montoya, 60, of Warren, was traveling northbound on STH 69 attempting to turn right onto W. Coates Ave., when he failed to negotiate the turn and collided with a fire hydrant. Montoya advised he was not injured and was wearing his seatbelt at the time of incident. The vehicle sustained no damage and was driven from the scene. The investigation resulted in Montoya being cited for traveling too fast for conditions and he was released pending court. 

● At 8:55 a.m., Deputies responded to the W3800 block of Gilberston Rd., in the Town of Mt. Pleasant, for a one vehicle crash without injury. The investigation found that the driver, Tyler P. Liskow, 28, of Brodhead, was traveling westbound when his vehicle lost traction due to snow-covered roads. Liskow then entered the north ditch, where he collided with a barbed wire fence. Liskow advised he was uninjured and wearing his seatbelt. The vehicle sustained functional damage, without airbag deployment, and was driven from the scene.  

● At 9:48 p.m., Deputies responded to the W2600 block of CTH C, in the Town of Mt. Pleasant, for a reported disturbance. The investigation resulted in Kenneth M. Johnson, 35, of Albany, being placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct, falling under Wisconsin’s domestic abuse laws. Johnson was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court. 

On January 17:

● At 8:34 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation in the N3200 block of STH 81, in the Town of Monroe. The investigation resulted in the driver, Effren M. Carrasco, 43, of Monroe, being placed under arrest for Operating While under Influence. Carrasco was additionally cited for Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration and Operating without a Valid Driver’s License. Carrasco was later released to a responsible person pending court. 

On January 21:

● At 3:47 a.m., Deputies responded to the N2000 block of STH 69, in the Town of Clarno, for a three vehicle crash. The investigation found that Mark J. Topp, 64, of Monroe, was traveling northbound when a southbound vehicle driven by Bayron Y. Caballero Talavera, 44, of Monroe, collided with him head on. Caballero Talavera’s vehicle then collided with another southbound vehicle driven by Naem Khalifawi, 47, of Freeport. All parties reported that they were uninjured and wearing their seatbelts at the time of incident. Topp’s and Caballero Talavera’s vehicles sustained disabling damage, with no airbag deployment, and were towed from the scene. Khalifawi’s vehicle sustained functional damage, with no airbag deployment, and was driven from the scene. Caballero Talavera was cited for no insurance, driving a vehicle with expired registration, and operating a vehicle without a valid driver’s license. Caballero Talavera was released pending court.  

● At 7:43 a.m., Deputies responded to the N500 block of CTH M, in the Town of Cadiz, for a single vehicle crash. The investigation found that Samantha J. Michael, 32, of Winslow, was traveling southbound attempting to negotiate a curve when she lost control of the vehicle due to snow covered roads. The vehicle entered the south ditch, where it collided with a road sign, an embankment, and then overturned. Michael advised she was wearing her seatbelt at the time of incident and was uninjured. The vehicle sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.
