On September 18:

● At 3:54 p.m., Deputies responded to the intersection of STH 81 & CTH J, in the Town of Monroe, for a one vehicle crash without injury.   The investigation found that Melanie A. Weber, 75, of Blanchardville, was traveling northbound on STH 81 and failed to negotiate a curve, resulting in her colliding with a guard rail.   Weber advised that she was wearing her seatbelt and was uninjured.  Weber’s vehicle sustained disabling damage, without airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene. 

On September 19:

● At approximately 7:53 p.m., Deputies along with Evansville FD, Evansville EMS, Orfordville EMS, and Medflight responded to the N7700 block of State Highway 104, Town of Brooklyn, for a motor vehicle accident. Investigations found that a vehicle was westbound on County Highway C (Rock County) and drove through the intersection striking a residence on the West side of State Highway 104. Investigations resulted in the driver Gary T Metz, 41, of Orfordville sustaining injuries as a result of the crash. Metz was arrested for Operate While Under the influence (3rd Offense) and released for further medical care.

● At approximately 1:44 a.m., on 09/20/2025, Justin W Young, 38, of Monroe, turned himself into the Green County Jail for a Department of Corrections warrant. Young was taken into custody and incarcerated at the Green County Jail.

On September 21:

● At 3:32 a.m., deputies conducted a line meet with the City of Beloit Police Department and took custody of Roque Sanchez, 56, of Beloit, on a Green County  warrant.  Roque was transported and turned over to Green County Jail staff without incident.

On September 24:

● At 9:55 a.m., Deputies responded to the WI Department of Corrections 2841 6th St, City of Monroe, for an apprehension request.  Deputies arrested William Robert Ellison, 33, homeless, for the probation/parole violation.  Ellison was jailed.

On September 25:

● At 2:18 p.m., Deputies and GC EMS responded to a two vehicle crash with injuries at  the Albany Interchange, STH 59 and STH 11, City of Monroe.  A vehicle operated by Barbara A Johnson, 81, Albany, was at the exit from eastbound STH 11, stopped at the stop sign.  A vehicle operated by Richard Heitke, 76, Clinton, WI, was southbound on STH 59.  Johnson had pulled out into the intersection to turn north onto STH 59, and collided with the vehicle operated by Heitke. Johnson reported minor injuries, and was wearing a seatbelt.  There was no airbag deployment, but Johnson’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.  Heitke and his passenger reported wearing their seatbelts and sustained injuries.  They were transported to an area hospital via EMS.  There was no airbag deployment in the Heitke vehicle, but it sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Johnson was cited for Failure to Yield Right of Way from a Stop Sign, and was released pending a court appearance. Green County Highway Department also assisted at the scene.

On September 26:

● At 3:29 p.m., Deputies responded to Green County Probation and Parole, where Dakota C.J. Lorenz, 32, of Monroe, was placed under arrest for an active warrant issued through Wisconsin Department of Corrections.  Lorenz was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail.  

On September 27:

● 4:06 p.m., Deputies, along with Evansville PD, Rock County Sheriff’s Office, Evansville First Response/EMS, responded to the N9000 blk of STH 104, Town of Brooklyn, for a two vehicle crash.  Investigation found a vehicle, operated by Ernest J. Newel, 50 of Evansville, was traveling southbound at a high rate of speed when he rear ended another south bound vehicle, operated by Zackery J. Riddle, 36 of Brooklyn. Newel was not injured and reported wearing his seatbelt. Newel’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Riddle and passengers reported wearing their seatbelts and not being injured. Riddle’s vehicle sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene. Newel was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated - 7th Offense. Newel is being held at the Green County Jail pending court.

On September 28:

● At 12:21 a.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding in the N6200 block of STH 69, in the Town of Mt. Pleasant.   The investigation resulted in the driver, Zachary D. White, 21, of Lena, being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence and cited for Unreasonable and Imprudent Speed.  White was later released pending court. 

 ● At 1:30 a.m., Deputies responded to the W5800 block of CTH NN, in the Town of New Glarus, for a reported disturbance.  The investigation resulted with the subjects involved, Teylon J. Hampton, 19, of Monroe and Anthony J. Severson, 52, of New Glarus, being cited for Disorderly Conduct.  Both parties were released pending court.
