On October 11:

● At 2:57 p.m., Deputies, along with the Monroe Rural Fire Department and Juda Fire Department, responded to the W4800 block of STH 59, in the Town of Sylvester, for a motor vehicle on fire. The investigation found that a westbound vehicle, driven by Katherine M. Brown, 60, of Monroe, began to smoke from the engine compartment. Upon Brown stopping and exiting the vehicle, she observed flames coming from the engine compartment. Brown advised that she was uninjured. The fire was later extinguished and the vehicle was towed due to disabling damage.
