On March 8:
● At 3:04 p.m., Deputies along with Brooklyn FD and Brooklyn EMS responded to the W1800 block of STH 92, Town of Brooklyn, for a report of a single vehicle accident with an injury. Megan J Daws, 28, of Blanchardville, was westbound when she experienced a blown tire. Daws’ vehicle entered the north ditch and came to rest. Daws reported injury, reported wearing her seatbelt, and no airbag deployment. Daws was transported via EMS for her injury. Daws’ vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene
On March 9:
● At 7:24 a.m., Deputies responded to a mvc in the W3500 block of CTH C, Town of Mt. Pleasant. Natasha Hartman, 37, Monticello, was westbound when she left the roadway and overcorrected. This caused the vehicle to cross the center line, entering the opposite ditch where it struck a utility pole and guy wire. The vehicle then continued across a driveway where it struck a fence post and a large rock before coming to rest in a field. The vehicle sustained disabling damage with air bag deployment. Natasha left the scene. While deputies were on scene, the owner of the vehicle, Shaun Hartman, 39, of Monticello arrived on scene and indicated that he took Natasha home from the crash. Natasha reported wearing her seatbelt, and possible injuries. She did not require transport. Natasha indicated that she does not remember the crash. Shaun was cited for Assist Subject Leaving the Scene of a Crash, and Natasha was cited for Failure to maintain control. They were released pending a court date.
On March 10:
● At 1:16 a.m., Deputies responded to the N2300 block of Bloom Ln., in the Town of Clarno, where Andy S. Salomi, 50, of Michigan, was placed under arrest for an extraditable arrest warrant through Kentucky Department of Corrections. Salomi was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.
On March 11:
● At approximately 2:53 a.m., Deputies responded to the W7500 block of State Highway 81, Town of Jordan for a car vs deer accident. Investigations found that a vehicle operated by Barbara L Timmerman, 57, of Monroe, was eastbound when she struck a deer in the roadway. Timmerman reported wearing her seatbelt and the airbags deployed within her vehicle. Timmerman was transported by EMS for injuries sustained. Timmerman’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
