On May 24:
● At 2:41 AM, Deputies responded to the N3200 block of Crazy Horse Ln., in the Town of Decatur, for a reported disturbance. The investigation resulted in Robert J. Zang, 45, of Woodstock, IL, being placed under arrest for False Imprisonment, Battery, and Disorderly Conduct, falling under Wisconsin’s domestic abuse laws. Zang was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court. Brodhead Police Department assisted with the investigation.
On May 25:
● At 10:37 a.m., Deputies responded to the W7900 block of Melvin Rd., in the Town of Cadiz for a disturbance. The investigation resulted in Christopher A. Jenson, 27, of Browntown and Matthew T. Rose, 51, of Beaver Dam being cited for Disorderly Conduct. Jenson and Rose were later released pending court.
● At 5:40 PM, Deputies responded to the intersection of STH 11 & CTH G, in the Town Spring Grove for a single vehicle crash with unknown injuries. The investigation found that Kendall C. Jones, 40, of Freeport was traveling westbound on STH 11 and began turning south on CTH G. Jones failed to negotiate the turn, traveled into the west ditch, where the vehicle overturned. Jones advised he was wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Jones was later cited for not having insurance for the vehicle and released pending court.
On May 26:
● At 10:25 AM, Deputies, Brodhead EMS and Fire Department responded to a MC crash with injuries in the W1100 block of Ten Eyck Rd,Town of Decatur. Brian Valiquette, 48, Bever Dam, was eastbound when the MC experienced a mechanical failure, causing it to overturn. He reported wearing a full face helmet and other protective gear, and sustained injuries. He was transported to an area hospital. The MC sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
● At 2:52 PM, Deputies responded to a hit and run crash in the 100 N Main St in the Village of Monticello. A legally parked, unoccupied vehicle was struck sometime between the evening hours on May 25, and the morning of May 26. The vehicle sustained functional damage. ● At 8:50 PM, Deputies responded to a disturbance at residence in the W3400 block of CTH KS, Town of Jefferson. After an investigation, Timothy J P Mohlmann, 33, Brodhead, was arrested for Domestic Disorderly Conduct. He posted bond and was released pending a court appearance.
● Kelsey T E Vavra, 31, Juda, was arrested for Domestic Disorderly Conduct and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping. She was jailed pending the posting of bond, or court appearance.
On May 27:
● At 4:50 p.m., GRSO deputies investigated an incident that occurred at a residence in the N3900 block of Sunrise Cir, Town of Decatur. As a result of the investigation, Juvy Luz Sorronda Balch, 60, Brodhead, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct While Armed - Domestic Abuse. She was jailed pending a court appearance.
On May 28:
● At 9:38 a.m., Deputies responded to a reported single vehicle crash with no injuries at the intersection of S. Main St. & E. Lake Ave., in the Village of Monticello. The investigation found that a semi-truck and trailer driven by Jeffrey A. Will, 68, of North Fond Du Lac, was making a right turn onto E. Lake Ave. from S. Main St. and struck a stop sign and utility pole. Will advised he was uninjured and wearing his seatbelt. The semi-truck and trailer sustained no damage or airbag deployment and was driven from the scene.
On May 29:
● At 1:35 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding in the W1000 block of STH 11, in the Town of Spring Grove. The investigation resulted in the driver, Jordan M. Klocke, 20, of Monroe, being cited for Possession of Marijuana. Klocke was later released pending court.
On May 30:
● At 7:39 a.m., deputies responded to the W100 block of STH 59, in the Village of Albany for a two vehicle crash. A vehicle operated by Charles D Menehan, 65, of Brodhead was westbound on STH 59 when he attempted to make a right turn. As he did so, a vehicle operated by Khushdeep Singh, 21, of Brodhead, attempted to pass on the right side, causing a collision. All occupants were not injured, they were wearing seatbelts, and there was no airbag deployment. Both vehicles sustained functional damage. Khushdeep was cited for unsafe passing on the right. He was released with a court date.
