On June 24:

● At approximately 8:51 a.m., Deputies responded to the N5500 block of State High-way 69, Town of Washington, for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Investigations found that a northbound vehicle driven by Cassandra M Trumpy, 27, of Monticello, failed to see a vehicle slowing ahead of her also northbound, preparing for a left-hand turn. Trumpy then attempted a passing maneuver around this vehicle operated by Jason P Zahradka, 51, of Monroe, striking the rear end of this vehicle. Both Trumpy and Zahradka denied injuries, both reported wearing their seatbelts, and neither vehicle’s airbags deployed. Trumpy’s vehicle was towed from the scene due to damages sustained. Zahradka’s vehicle was driven from the scene   Trumpy was cited for inattentive driving. 

On June 25:

● At 5:40 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a speed violation in the W5200 block of State Highway 11, in the Town of Monroe. Investigation resulted in the driver, Christopher W. Kuhn, 49 of Allenton, being cited for Operating After Revocation (due to alcohol) (Traffic Crime), Speeding, and Possession of THC. Kuhn was released pending court.

On June 25:

● 4:59 p.m. A deputy responded to CTH J, Benton Township for a hit and run.

● 9:40 p.m. Deputies responded to Sand RD, Wiota Township for a domestic dispute. Jeffrey G Valley, 60, Argyle was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and brought to the Lafayette County Jail where he remains in custody.

On June 26:

● At 9:56 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Lukas D. Parr, 39, of Janesville, for speeding in the W1400 block of STH 11, in the Town of Spring Grove.  The investigation resulted in Parr being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence.  Parr was additionally cited for Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration and Operating without a Valid Driver’s License.  Parr was later released to a responsible party pending a future court date. 

On June 27:

● At 8:44 a.m., Deputies responded to the 2800 block of 6th St. (Green County Justice Center), in the City of Monroe, where Matthew P. Baumgartner, 32, of Brodhead, was placed under arrest for two felony bench warrants through Green County.   Baumgartner was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail.  

On June 29:

● At 2:01 p.m., Deputies along with New Glarus EMS, and New Glarus Fire Department responded to the N7600 block of County Highway N, in the Town of New Glarus, for the report of a single motorcycle crash. Investigation revealed that a motorcycle operated by Michael Z. Kroner, 28 of West Allis, was traveling northbound when the vehicle left the roadway and overturned causing Kroner to be ejected. Kroner sustained injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The motorcycle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. The New Glarus Police Department assisted at the scene.

● At 3:48 p.m., Deputies along with New Glarus EMS and New Glarus Fire Department responded to the W7300 block of State Highway 39, in the Town of York, for a single motorcycle crash. Investigation revealed that a motorcycle operated by Ian R. Beardsley, 39 of Madison, was traveling westbound when he left the roadway while negotiating a curve. Beardsley was ejected, sustained injuries, and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The motorcycle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
