On December 2:

● At 8:31 a.m., Deputies responded to the W9100 block of STH 81, in the Town of Jordan, for a one vehicle crash. The investigation found that a vehicle driven by Cody J. Langmeier, 33, of Argyle, was traveling westbound on STH 81 negotiating a curve when the vehicle lost traction and he lost control of it. The vehicle then traveled down an embankment, struck a power pole, and then a tree before coming to a rest. Langmeier advised he was wearing his seatbelt and sustained minor injury. The vehicle sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene. 

● At 1:04 p.m., Deputies responded to the Green County Probation and Parole Office, where Curtis E. Paffel, 71, was placed under arrest for a warrant through the Department of Corrections. Paffel was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail. 

On December 3:

● At 8:20 a.m., Deputies responded to the W1100 block of CTH F, Town of Decatur, for a single vehicle crash. Max P. Mcloud, 18, Brodhead, was traveling westbound when he lost control due the snowy road conditions. The vehicle collided with the north ditch and came to rest. Mcloud reported wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured. The vehicle sustained functional damage with airbag deployment. The vehicle was towed from the scene. 

On December 6:

● At 4:06 a.m., Deputies conducted a welfare check on a vehicle in the ditch in the W8900 block of STH 11, in the Town of Cadiz. The investigation resulted in the driver, Juan R. Sequeira Fernandez, 24, of Shullsburg, being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence, Failure to Install an Ignition Interlock Device, and an active warrant for his arrest. Sequeira Fernandez was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.

On December 7:

● At 4:17 a.m., Deputies responded to the 400 block of S. Mechanic St., in the Village of Albany, for a one vehicle crash. The vehicle was later located unoccupied.  The investigation found that the driver, Tanner G. Keppers, 32, of Brodhead, was traveling south when he swerved to avoid a deer in the roadway. Tanner advised that he then lost control of the vehicle and entered the east ditch, where the vehicle overturned and then came to a rest.  Keppers advised that he was wearing his seatbelt at the time of incident and was uninjured. The vehicle sustained disabling damage, without airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.

● At 9:40 p.m., Deputies responded to the 300 block of STH 69, in the Village of New Glarus, for a reported vehicle in the ditch. The investigation resulted in the driver, Jeremy N. Jacobson, 44, of New Glarus, being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence. Jacobson was additionally cited for Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration (greater than .15) and Failure to Maintain Control of his vehicle. Jacobson was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail. 

On December 9:

● At 1:36 PM, Deputies along with Juda Fire Department and Green County EMS responded to a two vehicle crash with injuries in the W1700 block of State Highway 11, Town of Spring Grove. Pamela M. Huseman, 65, Brodhead, was traveling eastbound, when she entered the westbound lane of travel and collided with a westbound vehicle operated by Christine L. Scharrschmidt, 72, Brodhead. Huseman sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital. Huseman reported no seatbelt usage, and the vehicle airbags deployed. Huseman’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Scharrschmidt sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital. Scharrschmidt reported wearing her seatbelt, and the vehicle airbags deployed. Scharrschmidt’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.Huseman was cited for Operating Left of Center, and released pending a court date.

● At 4:16 p.m., Deputies responded to a two vehicle crash in the W4700 block of CTH W, Town of Exeter. Claire M Hodel, 25, New Glarus, was westbound and preparing to turn into a driveway when her vehicle was rear ended by another westbound vehicle operated by Justina M Sonnenburg, 34, Belleville. Hodel reported wearing her seatbelt and was uninjured. Hodel’s vehicle sustained functional damage with no airbag deployment, and was driven from the scene. Sonnenburg reported wearing her seatbelt and sustained a non-life threatening injury.  Sonnenburg’s vehicle sustained disabling damage with airbag deployment. Her vehicle was towed from the scene. 

On December 11:

● At 3:58 p.m., Deputies responded to the Green County Probation & Parole Office where Darren J. Lange, 27, of Albany, was placed under arrest for a Probation Hold. Lange was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail.
