On July 1:

● At approximately 3:28 a.m., Deputies responded to the N7100 block of CTH CC, Town of Mt Pleasant, for a report of a single vehicle accident. Investigations revealed that a vehicle operated by Heather M Simler, 36, of Freeport, was southbound on County Highway CC when her vehicle entered the South ditch and struck a grain bin. Simler reported being injured, reported wearing her seatbelt, and the airbags deployed within her vehicle. Simler’s vehicle sustained disabling damage as a result of the crash. Subsequently, Simler was arrested for OWI-1st offense and cited for inattentive driving. Simler was released to a responsible party pending court. 

● At approximately 10:50 a.m., Deputies responded to the Green County Probation and Parole Office and arrested Haliegh J Falsey, 29, of Argyle, for a probation violation. Falsey was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court. 

On July 2:

● At 9:08 a.m., Deputies responded to WI DOC office, 2841 6th St, City of Monroe, to take Brandon J. Disrud, 37, Monticello, into custody on a DOC warrant. Disrud was arrested and transported to Green County Jail. He was jailed.

On July 4:

● At 2:48 a.m., Deputies responded to the 100 block of W. Main St., in the Village of Albany, for a two-vehicle crash with no injuries. The investigation found that Brett M. Broebner, 20, of Brodhead, was traveling westbound when he swerved to miss a deer and then collided with an unoccupied parked vehicle. Broebner reported that he was wearing his seatbelt and was not injured. Both vehicles involved sustained disabling damage, with no airbag deployment, and were towed from the scene.  Broebner was cited for Failure to Maintain Control and released pending court.

 ● At 9:23 a.m., Deputies responded to the N2300 block of Bethel Rd., in the Town of Clarno, for a single vehicle crash. The investigation found that Joebob N. White, 21, of Browntown, was traveling westbound when he looked down for his phone and veered off the roadway. White then attempted to correct the vehicle, but struck a mailbox and driveway before coming to a rest. White advised he was wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured.  The vehicle sustained disabling damage, with no airbag deployment, and was moved from the roadway. White was cited for Failure to Maintain Control and Operate without a Driver’s License. White was later released pending court.  

On July 5:

● At 1:21 p.m., Deputies responded to the W7800 blk of Franklin Rd., Town of Cadiz, for a report of a single vehicle crash. Investigation found that a vehicle operated by Matthew C. Goebli, 61 of Browntown, was eastbound on Franklin Rd. exited the roadway into the south shoulder, struck a culvert  and came to a rest on the embankment. Goebli was wearing his seatbelt, and sustained a minor injury. The vehicle sustained disabling damage with no airbag deployment and was towed from the scene.

● At 7:16 p.m., Deputies responded to the N4600 blk of CTH E, Town of Decatur, for a reported disturbance. The investigation resulted in Torin A. Thomas, 27, of Fitchburg, being arrested for a probation violation. He was confined at the Green County Jail.

On July 6:

● At 8:55 p.m., Deputies responded to the W9400 block of CTH Y, in the Town of Jordan, for a reported motorcycle versus deer crash with injury. The investigation found that the driver, Jeffrey L. Hartwig, 72, of Monroe, was traveling westbound when he collided with a deer in the roadway and then was ejected from the motorcycle. Hartwig was later transported to the hospital for apparent non-life-threatening injuries. Hartwig’s motorcycle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. 

On July 9:

● At 1:12 p.m., Deputies responded to the 2800 block of 6th St. (Green County Jail), in the City of Monroe, after Cindi L. Carrion, 38, of Monroe, had turned herself in for an active arrest warrant through Probation & Parole. Carrion was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail.
