On July 20:
● At 4:02 a.m., Deputies responded to the W2300 block of CTH EE, in the Town of Albany, for a reported one vehicle crash with unknown injuries. The investigation found that Cecilia P.L. Larson, 22, of Evansville, was traveling eastbound when she swerved to miss a deer. Larson then entered the south shoulder, where she struck a road sign and mailbox. Larson then traveled across the road and entered a corn field to the north, where the vehicle came to a rest. Larson advised she was uninjured and wearing her seatbelt. Larson’s vehicle sustained functional damage, with no airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene. The investigation resulted in Larson being cited for Failure to Report a Crash to Law Enforcement and Failure to Maintain Control.
On July 21:
● At 2:29 a.m., Deputies responded to the 500 block of 3rd St., in the Village of New Glarus, for a welfare check on a motorist. The investigation resulted in Kellan M. Zweifel, 23, of New Glarus, being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence. Zweifel was later released pending court.
● At 5:05 a.m., Deputies responded to the 300 block of N. Rutland Ave, in the Village of Brooklyn, for a reported disturbance. The investigation resulted in Joshua C. Funseth, 33, of Brooklyn, and Hayley J. Perry, 19, of Augusta, IL being cited for Disorderly Conduct. Both parties were released pending court.
On July 22:
● At 2:04 p.m., Deputies responded to a one vehicle crash in the N100 block of CTH T, in the Town of Spring Grove. A vehicle operated by Exequiel De Jesus Perez Moreno, 27, of Monroe was northbound on CTH T when he lost control of the vehicle, causing him to go off the roadway and collide with some bushes and rocks. Exequiel was not injured, he was wearing his seatbelt, and the airbags did not deploy. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene by Arn’s Towing. Exequiel was cited for operating without a license and released pending court.
● At 3:31 p.m., Deputies responded to the 2800 blk of 6th Street, City of Monroe. Deputies arrested, Paul M. Anderson, 37, of Blanchardville, for a probation violation. He was incarcerated at the Green County Jail.
● At 4:10 p.m., Deputies, along with Albany EMS and Monticello First Response, responded to the intersection of Rechsteiner Rd and Purintun Rd, Town of Mt Pleasant, for a report of a vehicle in the ditch and possible crash. Investigation found that a vehicle operated by, Jeremy L. Hartwig, 38, of Albany was eastbound on Purintun Rd when it attempted to turn southbound onto Rechsteiner Rd, lost control, and entered the west ditch where it became stuck. As a result of the investigation, Hartwig was arrested for OWI- 5th offense. Hartwig was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.
On July 23:
● At 5:45 a.m., Deputies responded to the W700 block of Ten Eyck Rd., in the Town of Decatur, for a reported single vehicle crash. The investigation found that Adam R. Johnson, 36, of Brodhead, was traveling westbound when he struck a deer, entered the shoulder of the roadway, and lost control. Johnson reported he then entered the ditch, where he struck an embankment, and then the vehicle came to a rest. Johnson said he was uninjured and wearing his seatbelt. The vehicle sustained functional damage, with no airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene. Johnson was cited for Possession of Open Intoxicants pending a future court date.
● At 6:36 a.m., Deputies responded to the W9500 block of STH 81, in the Town of Adams, for a reported single vehicle crash. The investigation found that Dale L. Hughes, 39, of Hollandale, was traveling eastbound negotiating a curve, when he lost traction to wet road conditions. Hughes then entered the south ditch, where he struck an embankment, and then entered a culvert where the vehicle came to a rest. Hughes advised he was uninjured and wearing his seatbelt. Hughes’ vehicle sustained disabling damage, with no airbag deployment and was towed from the scene.
● At 12:00 p.m., Deputies responded to the W5200 block of Hefty Rd., in the Town of Washington, where Bryce M. Klitzke, 30, of Monticello, was placed under arrest for an active arrest warrant through Probation and Parole. Klitzke was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail.
● At 7:15 p.m., Deputies responded to the area of E. Main St. & S. Water St., in the Village of Albany, for a disturbance. The investigation resulted in Lia R. Fry, 20, of Albany, Adeigh R. Schwartz, 20, of Albany, Jurnee L. Johnson, 19, of Janesville, and Zayda M. Johnson, 21, of Beloit, being cited for Disorderly Conduct. All parties were released pending court.
On July 25:
● At 5:59 a.m., Deputies responded to a residence in the W3000 blk of Greenbush Road, Sylvester Township, for a complaint. Investigation found that, Ryan J. Leaver, 48 of Juda, had an active felony warrant out of the State of Montana. Leaver was arrested for the warrant and was incarcerated at the Green County Jail.
