On January 30:

● At 5:01 p.m., Deputies responded to the N6500 block of STH 69, in the Town of Mt. Pleasant, for a two vehicle crash.  The investigation found that a southbound vehicle, driven by Tyler S. Holst, 29, of Mornoe, was stopped and yielding to traffic before turning east onto Lake Ave. Another southbound vehicle, driven by Jennifer H.H. Mehn, 21, of Oshkosh, failed to slow down behind Holst and collided with the rear of his vehicle. Mehn advised she was wearing her seatbelt and was uninjured. Holst advised he was wearing his seatbelt and reported suspected minor injury. Both vehicles involved sustained disabling damage, with no airbag deployment, and were towed from the scene. The investigation resulted in Mehn being cited for Failure to Yield Right of Way and she was released pending court.    

On January 31:

● At 1:48 p.m., Deputies responded to the 200 block of E. Coats Ave., in the Village of Monticello, for a reported disturbance. The investigation resulted in Melvin Omar Alvarado Castro, 35, of Monticello, being placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct, Battery, Intimidation of a Victim, and False Imprisonment, all falling under Wisconsin’s domestic abuse laws. Alvarado Castro was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.  

● At 8:02 p.m., Deputies responded to the N8800 block of Marty Rd., in the Town of New Glarus, for a reported suspicious activity. The investigation found that a motor vehicle crash had occurred. The driver, Luke Andrasz, 43, of Hillsboro, reported that he was driving southbound when he lost control of his vehicle, then entered the ditch, and then collided with a tree. Andrasz advised that he was uninjured and wearing his seatbelt. The vehicle sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment, and remained on scene to be removed at a later time.  

● At 9:25 p.m., Deputies responded to the N800 block of Mt. Hope Rd., in the Town of Spring Grove, for a reported suspicious activity. The investigation resulted in Trevor C. Hahn, 25, of Brodhead, being placed under arrest for two active arrest warrants through Green County, one active arrest warrant through the Department of Corrections, and Bail Jumping. Hahn was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.   

On February 2:

● At 3:23 p.m., Paul M. Anderson, 38, of Blanchardville was arrested for violating his parole at the Probation and Parole Office. Anderson was transported to the Green County Jail and confined pending court.

On February 3:

● At 7:31 a.m., Deputies along with Belleville Fire/EMS, responded to the intersection of County Highway CC and County Highway W, in the Town of Exeter, for a two vehicle crash. The investigation determined that the vehicle driven by Spencer J. Barnes, 30, of Monticello was turning onto County Highway CC from County Highway W, when it struck the vehicle driven by Alexandria N. Byrne, 30 of Verona, who was stopped at the stop sign in the intersection. Byrne’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Barnes’ vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene. Both drivers reported wearing their seatbelt and having no injuries. The investigation resulted in Barnes receiving a citation for improper left turn and was released pending court.

On February 4:

● At 6:56 p.m., Deputies responded to the W900 block of Mohns Clark Rd., in the Town of Spring Grove, for a reported disturbance. The investigation resulted in Nicholas S. Rowley, 30, of Brodhead, being placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct, Battery, and False Imprisonment (falling under Wisconsin’s domestic abuse laws). Rowley was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.
