On January 22:

● At 5:09 a.m., Deputies responded to the W6100 block of Tucker Rd., in the Town of Washington, for a single vehicle crash.  The investigation found that Kevin M. Knudtson, 50, of Monroe, was traveling eastbound when he lost control of his vehicle after trying to slow down.  The vehicle then struck a utility pole and came to a rest.  Knudtson advised that he was uninjured and was wearing his seatbelt.  The vehicle sustained disabling damage, with no airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.  

● At 2:38 p.m., Deputies responded to the N3200 block of STH 81, in the Town of Monroe, for a single vehicle crash.  The investigation found that Michael J. Steinhauser, 17, of Monroe, was traveling westbound when he lost control of the vehicle due to snow covered roads.  The vehicle then entered the north ditch and collided with a road sign before coming to a rest.  Steinhauser advised that he was uninjured and wearing his seatbelt at the time of incident.  The vehicle sustained functional damage, with no airbag deployment, and was driven from the scene.
