TOWN OF DECATUR — A vehicle traveling far less than the posted speed limit on an area highway on Sunday night was being driven by an allegedly intoxicated driver.

That’s according to the Green County Sheriff’s department, which reported pulling a car over just before 5:40 p.m. near N8400 STH 104, in the Town of Decatur. The car was reportedly traveling at 15 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour zone -- and the slow-moving vehicle had prompted at least one call to police.

After making contact with the driver, police arrested Duane A. Zoller, 54, of Monticello on a charge of operating while under the influence, 5th offense. He was also issued a traffic ticket in the incident and was taken to Green County Jail, reports said.
