Misdemeanors
● Colton Lee Sonneman, 18, Beaver Dam, pleaded guilty May 1 to misdemeanor charges of operating a firearm while intoxicated and carrying a concealed weapon, stemming from an Aug. 24 traffic accident in Albany. He was sentenced to 18 months on probation, with conditions including absolute sobriety and any treatment or counseling deemed appropriate by his probation agent. His court assessments total $886. If he successfully completes probation, he is eligible to have the convictions expunged under a state law that grants leniency to young offenders.
● James F. Von Arx, 67, Browntown, pleaded guilty May 14 to a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct with use of a dangerous weapon and entered a 12-month deferred prosecution agreement. The conviction will be dismissed if he complies with conditions of the agreement. The case stems from an altercation Jan. 23 outside a residence in the 900 block of 10th Street in Monroe. Police reports indicate Von Arx threatened a man with a knife during a dispute.
