Green County
Felonies
● Bradley C. Burgess, 23, Mineral Point, was charged May 7 with one Class E felony count of possessing an amphetamine with intent to distribute, as a party to a crime and as a second or subsequent offense. He was also charged with possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia and possession of THC, both felonies, along with five counts of felony bail jumping and one misdemeanor count of possessing drug paraphernalia. The case stems from a traffic stop May 5 in New Glarus. He was further charged June 2 with felony bail jumping and a misdemeanor count of contempt of court. The criminal complaint indicates he refused to unlock his phone for a deputy executing a search warrant for the device. When informed that he could face charges for refusing, Burgess “stated that he would just take the charge and remained uncooperative.”
