Misdemeanors
● Robert C. Anderson, 29, Madison, pleaded no contest Oct. 16 to a Class B misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct and was sentenced to 12 months on probation with an imposed and stayed nine months in jail. The case stems from a physical altercation Aug. 13, 2017 at a residence on Christen Road, Town of Exeter, with Anderson reported as the aggressor.
● Jean Erika Justice, 24, Monroe, had her deferred prosecution agreement revoked Oct. 15 on Class A misdemeanor charges from 2016 of criminal damage to property and resisting or obstructing an officer. She was sentenced to five days in jail, with four days previously served, and ordered to pay the court $1,871.50. Court records indicate her agreement was revoked because she failed to attend her quarterly monitoring conferences, make obligated court payments or provide proof of undergoing an alcohol-abuse assessment or treatment. The original case alleges she kicked a Monroe police officer in the shins, struck him in the elbow, damaged a squad car and yelled and swore at police outside a bar in November 2016.
● Connar Steven Koch, 23, Monroe, pleaded no contest Nov. 7 to misdemeanor counts of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia and was sentenced to 18 months on probation. His court assessments total $886. The case stems from a June 9 arrest assisted by the Green County K-9 Unit in the N7100 block of Wis. 69.
● Alexis Lynne Furino, 26, Brodhead, pleaded guilty Nov. 20 to a misdemeanor charge of retail theft, downgraded from a felony, and was sentenced to one year on probation. A fine of $176 was paid in full. Court records indicate Furino tried to shoplift merchandise valued at about $1,000 from the Walmart in Monroe on July 29.
● Charles J. Benoy, 57, New Glarus, pleaded no contest Nov. 21 to ordinance violations of possessing THC (marijuana) and possessing drug paraphernalia, downgraded from criminal charges alleging a second or greater offense of each, and was fined. He owes the court $560. The case stems from an investigation Oct. 9 at Benoy’s home on Hustad Valley Road, Town of New Glarus.
● Antwoyn L. Johnson, 46, New Glarus, pleaded no contest Nov. 26 to an ordinance violation of possessing drug paraphernalia, downgraded from a misdemeanor, and was fined $330.50. The case stems from an offense July 11 in Monroe.
● Randy S. Norris, 52, Brodhead, pleaded guilty Nov. 27 to a third-offense misdemeanor charge of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to four months in jail. His license is revoked 28 months. Misdemeanor charges of possessing THC (marijuana) and drug paraphernalia and operating with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration (0.216 percent) were dismissed as part of a plea deal. He owes the court $3,264. The case stems from an arrest Oct. 26, 2017. Police reports indicate Norris was found sleeping behind the wheel in the middle of the road in the 2000 block of 4th Street in Monroe.

Felonies
● Amanda Lynn Penniston, 38, Argyle, stood mute Dec. 13 on a Class H felony charge of misappropriation of ID info and three misdemeanor counts of theft. Court records indicate she used a neighbor’s financial account to pay her CenturyLink bills in March and April, for a total of $304.39. Her cash bond is set at $1,000. She has another open case alleging she broke into the same neighbor’s home and stole money, pills and other items. She is currently on probation for previous convictions of stealing money from a rural Argyle couple who hired her as their accountant.
