On Feb. 21:
● 8:50 a.m., Police responded to the 600 block of E 9th Ave. for the report of Suspicious Activity; a subject taking pictures of properties. The subject was identified as an employee for the phone company; no other suspicious activity was located.
On Feb. 22:
● 10:58 p.m., Police responded to the 500 block of 4th St. for the report of an Animal Problem; a dog bite. This matter was referred to the Green County Health Department.
On Feb. 23:
● 7:21 p.m., a 28 year old Brodhead man was arrested in the 600 block of W 3rd Ave. on a warrant issued by the Green County Sheriff’s Office.
On Feb. 26:
● 6:24 a.m., Police responded to the 1000 block of W 3rd Ave. for the report of an Animal Problem; a deer hadbeen struck by a vehicle
● 8:31 a.m., Police responded to the 1000 block of W 3rd Ave. for the report of a Motor Vehicle Theft. This matter remains under investigation.
● 8:51 a.m., a 18 year old Brodhead man was cited in the 2300 block of E 9th Ave. for Failure to Stop at Stop Sign, Seatbelt Violation, and Motor Vehicle Liability Insurance Required following a Traffic Crash.
On Feb. 27:
● 5:50 p.m., a 28 year old Brodhead man was cited in the 800 block of 17th St. for Animal Running at Large, No Dog License, and Vaccination Required following the report of a dog bite.
On Feb. 28:
● 9:07 a.m., Police responded to the 500 block of 12th St. for the report of an Animal Problem; a barking dog. Police checked the area but did not locate any violation.
On March 3:
● 5:34 p.m., Police responded to the 700 block of W 2nd Ave. for the report of Disorderly Conduct; subjects involved in a verbal altercation. Contact was made and a warning was issued.
● 6:13 p.m., Police responded to the 1400 block of E 6th Ave. for the report of Harassment. This was determined to be a civil issue; both subjects advised to avoid contact.
On March 5:
● 12:30 a.m., a 31 year old Orfordville man was cited in the 100 block of 1st St. for Non-registration of Auto.
● 2:01 a.m., a 31 year old Brodhead man was cited in the 1700 block of 1st Center Ave. for Operating after Revocation / Alcohol Related.
On March 6:
● 9:12a.m., a 40 year old Albany woman was cited in the 900 block of W 3rd Ave. for Hit and Run – Unattended Vehicle and Operate Left of Center following a Traffic Crash.
On March 8:
● 8:30a.m., Police responded to the 2500 block of W 5th Ave. for the report of Truancy. This matter was referred to Juvenile Intake.
On March 9:
● 1:15p.m., Police received a report of Fraud in the 1000 block of E 9th Ave; an undisclosed amount of cash was taken from an account. This matter remains under investigation.
On March 10:
● 14 parking citations were issued for violation of the City’s Winter Parking ordinance.
On March 11:
● 10:28a.m. Police responded to the 1200 block of 17th St. for the report of a domestic problem. Contact was made and the matter was resolved.
