MONROE - The annual Green County Association for Home and Community Education "Favorites" cookbook is now available. This year's special feature category is "Quick and Easy" recipes. "Quick and Easy" recipes can be found in all sections of the 2014 Green County HCE "Favorites" Cookbook.
This year's "Green County Homemakers' Favorites," also known as the Holiday Letter, includes over 150 recipes from HCE club members.
HCE is a nonprofit organization that partners with University of Wisconsin-Extension Family Living Programs, at both the state and county level, to bring quality educational programming to our members and our communities. Proceeds from the sale of the cookbook fund yearly grants and scholarships given by HCE for students pursuing a college degree or furthering their education. Annually, scholarships are awarded totaling $1,000.
The cookbook is available to the general public for $3 each at the Green County UW-Extension office, located in the lower level of the Justice Center, 2841 6th St. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
