MONROE - As the third installment in the free Concerts on the Square series, The Jamie Campbell Band will perform from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, July 7, on the west side of the Square.
Those attending are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
The Jamie Campbell Band brings high-energy, top 40 country music combined with elements of rock and country.
The group has opened for national acts and has played venues across the country including in Nashville, Tenn., where Jamie was a finalist for national star. Box lunches will be available at Café Claudeen's, Pancho and Lefty's and Boomerang Bakery.
All are located on or near the Square.
Special Olympics volunteers will be selling popcorn as a fundraiser. Bartels Pub and Ruf's Confectionery are providing the free popcorn.
Beverages will also be available at a beer stand sponsored by the Green County Humane Society.
Monroe Main Street will sell snow cones and water.
In the event of inclement weather, the concert will move to The Roller Den, 1506 31st Ave., Monroe.
A sign announcing the move will be posted on the square and announced on WEKZ, and attendees should bring their own chairs.
