Compost now available

MONROE — The City of Monroe Streets Division has begun hauling compost to the compost site on the east side of 18th Avenue between 4th Street and Mansion Drive. It will be hauled to this site as time and weather permits. 

Wood Chips will also be available for City of Monroe residents at this location.

Only City of Monroe residents may get compost from this location. The compost is not meant to be  hauled away with bucket type equipment, such as a skid steer, end loader, tractor with bucket, etc. 

Delivery of a 5-yard load of compost is available to City of Monroe residents for a $75 fee payable in advance to the City of Monroe.
