MADISON - Colony Brands of Monroe is one of 12 companies chosen to receive a Wisconsin Corporate Safety Award for 2017.
Wisconsin Safety Council, a provider of safety training and products, and the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development honored the companies during the 76th annual Wisconsin Safety and Health Conference at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center in Wisconsin Dells on April 17-18, according to a WSC news release.
The winners were chosen based on information they provided on their organization's safety and health leadership, training and implementation programs and employee participation. Their applications also included information on their safety accomplishments and goals. The applications were judged by an independent panel of 30 safety, insurance and human resource professionals, according to the release.
Colony Brands won the award in Category D as a size three company.
