College Board recognizes New Glarus students for Advanced Placement/PSAT success

NEW GLARUS — This summer, College Board recognized four New Glarus High School students for their success in Advanced Placement courses. The four students that were recognized were: 

●  Jack Parkinson, senior, National Rural and Small-Town Award

●  Keatan Zimmerman, senior, National Rural and Small-Town Award

●  Kiehmi Tazeh, junior, National Rural and Small-Town Award and the National African American Recognition Award

●  Sam Copeland, senior, National Rural and Small-Town Award

Criteria for these awards include a 3.5 GPA or higher and students must have scored in the top 10% on the PSAT/NMSQT or if they scored higher than a 3 on two or more AP exams.
