MONROE - The City of Monroe pool will open Saturday, June 2.
Season-pass pool regular rates are: family pass, $90 for Monroe residents and $103 for non-residents; family wading pool pass, $65 for residents and $78 for non-residents; individual pass, $48 for residents and $61 for non-residents; senior citizen pass, $40 for residents and $53 for non-residents; and senior citizen couple pass, $70 for residents and $83 for non-residents. Those who register before Friday, June 1 will get a discount of $5.
Daily pool admission rates are: seniors, age 55 and older, $3 for residents and $4 for non-residents; adults, 18 and older, $3.50 for residents and $4.50 for non-residents; youth, $3 for residents and $4 for non-residents; children, 7 months to 3 years, $1 for residents and $2 for non-residents; children 6 months and younger, free; deck pass, $2; lap/leisure swim, $2; group rate of more than 25 people, $2.50 per person; and a punch pass for 10 admissions, $30.
Swim lessons and water fitness classes are also available. To register, visit the Monroe Parks and Recreation office, 1110 18th Ave., from
8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday or go to the "Parks and Recreation" tab at www.cityofmonroe.org for a registration form. Forms may be mailed or left in the outside drop box at the Parks and Recreation entrance.
