MONROE - In a meeting Monday, the City of Monroe Public Safety Committee:
• Recommended to council to approve the special event, Main Street Market on the Square, which begins May 12.
• Approved installation of stop signs on 13th Street at 14th Avenue.
• Took no action on a request for a no parking zone in 1700 block of 12th Street, and requested a representative from Wisconsin Cheese Groups attend the next meeting to discuss committee members concerns.
