MONROE - In a meeting Wednesday, the City of Monroe Plan Commission:
• Held a public hearing regarding a proposal to amend boundaries of Business Improvement District and proposed 2010 Operating Plan.
• Discussed and adopted proposed 2010 BID operating plan and designate amended Business Improvement District boundaries. The plan and boundary designations move next to Common Council for approval.
• Reviewed request for and took no action on a change of zoning for property located at 1807 12th Avenue from M-1 (Light Industrial District) to B-2 (General Business District).
• Discussed and approved a petition for direct annexation by unanimous approval for John Baumann (to annex part of Monroe Country Club land) and designated it a R-1 (Residential) zoning.
Member John Frantz was absent.
